2006. owsiks. the coolest batch ever. walang kokontra.

2. Ilan ang sections sa batch mo?
7 sections. avogadro, becquerel, curie, darwin, edison, einstein, fleming. oha oha. gusto niyo sabihin ko pa kung anu-ano nacontribute nila sa science world eh. haha.

3. Anong curriculum ang sinusunod niyo?
ewan ko. basta alam ko kami yung last batch na may ganung curriculum. yung mga sumunod mas intensive na kasi 1st year pa lang may technical writing na. kawawa naman sila. wahaha.

Part II. Personal

1. Sino favorite principal mo? Explain.
2 lang yung dumaang principal sa akin. si Sir Habihan at si Cavo. oh well, tinatanong pa ba kung sino mas gusto ko sa dalawa. syempre si Sir Habihan! ang saya-saya nung fair nung siya yung principal. tas naging disaster na nung dumating na si Cavo. ahaha.

2. Eh favorite teacher at subject?
1st year si Ms. G fave teacher ko pero ayaw ko ng english. tas si Sir Semana sa AP kasi fave niya din ako eh. wahaha. 2nd year si Ms. Capinpin sa AP at Sir Bitangcor sa Math. 3rd year at 4th year si Mam Erpelo sa AP uli. I actually love our AP teachers.

3. Alam mo ba lahat ng facilities ng Quesci? Ano pinakagusto mo?
of course i know them all! ahaha. pero fave ko ang canteen. kain kain.

4. Madalas ka ba sa soccerfield? Ano ginagawa mo dun?
ok lang. naglalakad paikot-ikot, nagpipicnic minsan, at dun kami naglalaro pag may game sa pe o ap.

5. Ano ang tawag mo sa mga benches malapit sa Mathay II building? Para saan yun?
yung pa-square? ewan ko kung para san yun. alam ko para sa cocc. pero nung 1st year kami, naglalaro kami dun ng langit lupa. ahaha. tas nung 4th year (darwin-4) dun pa kami nagkaroon ng mini-celebration bago graduation.

6. Favorite food sa canteen?
iced tea at melon shake. grabe everyday yun. walang palya. di kasi ako kumakain ng mga luto sa canteen eh. wahaha.

7. Ano ang tamang spelling? Cheats? Chits? Cheets? Chitz?
chits. hanggang ngayon meron akong ganun. yung P1 lang. souvenir!

8. Sinusunod mo ba ang biodegradable/non-biodegradable trash bins?
oo naman. sa canteen lang naman yun eh. sa classroom throw all you can sa trash can!

9. Bumuboto ka ba sa SCB/SSG elections? Sino favorite president mo?
yep. bumoboto ako. kaso di ko na maalala kung sinu-sino yung naging president.

10. Tumatambay ka ba sa fire exit? Sino madalas kasama mo dun?
of course. 3rd year at 4th year sa tabi ng fire exit yung classroom ko eh.

11. Ano ang mga Lab sa school? Nagamit mo bang lahat?
earth science lab, natural science lab, research lab, math lab, bio lab 1, bio lab 2, chem lab 1, chem lab 2, physics lab 1, physics lab 2, computer lab. oha oha. copy-paste lang. ahaha. pero napuntahan at nagamit ko lahat yan lalo na yung chem lab nung 4th year. si mam dacquel kasi eh. tas pinaka-rare kong puntahan eh yung math lab na sobrang liit, yung research lab na puro table lang, at yung computer lab na walang enta.

12. Scientian.com! Familiar? Ano username mo?
nope. wala akong naalalang ganito. huhu.

13. Eh #quesci? Pumupunta ka ba dito?
hindi. di ko nga alam kung ano yan eh. wahaha.

14. Friendly ka ba sa ibang batch?
oh well, hindi masyado. lalo na dun sa sumunod na batch sa amin. joke. ahaha.

uhm yung batch '03! tuwanng-tuwa talaga ako sa kanila.

16. Umaattend ka ba ng night events ng school? Anu-ano ang na-attendan mo?
oo. pero nung 4th year lang. yung mushpit, yung sa valentine's day, at yung para kay Ms. G.

3 times. 1st, 2nd, & 4th year. Masaya yung 1st at 2nd year.

18. May mga club ka ba? Active member?
may club ako. solid social science. pero di ako active. nung 4th year nga parang wala ng club club. ahehe.

19. Umaattend ka ba ng fieldtrip? San kayo nagpunta
yep yep yep. every year. 1st year sa Subic. 2nd year sa nueva ecija. 3rd year sa Avilon Zoo tas may Rizal ata. basta may swimming pa rin. 4th year sa Island Cove sa Cavite.

20. Dala mo ba ang family mo every Family Day?
of course. ahaha. except nung 4th year kasi di ako umattend ng family day.

21. GC?
huh? ako GC? no no no. puro shotgun nga yung exams ko lalo na nung 4th year. ayaw ko lang ng bagsak. ahaha. bigla kong naalala yung 4th quarter exam namin sa math nung 4th year. kasi labasan ng results ng UPCAT kaya minadali ko talaga yung exam. 10 mins ata tapos na ko! wahaha.

22. Crammer?
homaygad. one of the things i learned in quesci, the art of cramming. yung mga homework sa school ko na ginagawa. few minutes before the exam tsaka lang ako nag-aaral. yung mga reports at presentations tsaka lang nagppractice pag andyan na yung teacher. hehe. feel ko nga mas gumagana yung utak ko pag nagccram. mas lumalabas ang creative juices.

23. Nagccut ka ba ng class?
lahat naman tayo dumaan sa ganyan eh. ahaha. hanggang ngayon nga nagccut ako. weeeh.

24. Alam mo ba ang ibig sabihin ng Model girl/boy at A1 girl/boy?
oo pero wala naman akong paki dun

oo naman. 3rd year sa Gazebo Royale. 4th year sa Celebrity. mas maganda yung venue nung 3rd year pero mas masaya nung 4th year kasi non-stop dancing ang hood!

cheering competition! grandslam kami dun eh. tas nung 4th year nga kami nagparaya na kami at di na sumali. give chance to others. ahaha.

ok lang. fave ko yung God kasi andun yung friends ko. wahaha.

ergs, wala.

it has been a long time since i posted something here. i mean entries that are not cross-posts from my multiply. so i think this is the right time to write something. and since only a few knows this site, i'll give you a very juicy post. hohohoho.:))

well, me and a certain friend of mine formed this new group called SA. don't ask what SA means coz you'll be very scared. ahaha. SA is a group consisting of people admiring a certain being. actually there are only two of us in the group and we want it to remain that way. anyway, it was formed just last sunday, march 30. after two days we have come up with a list regarding SA. if nido has 12 signs of good nutrition, in SA we have 11 signs of a true blue SA. this is not yet final though. that means we could add up more signs. oh well, here it is. tadah!

lowest grade ever

oh well i got my grade in acctg1 today. and tadah, i got a 3! my lowest grade in UP to date. but what the heck, at least it's not a 4 or a 5.

my grade was on the borderline so i vowed to study acctg1 during the holy week and that was what i did. then last tuesday, after our finals exam, our third exam was given back. i failed it and this almost brought me to tears. i was losing all my hopes. but i thought i still have a chance to pass if i get a good grade in the finals. so these past three days, all i did was to pray hard for my finals and the good Lord didn't fail me. i went to ba this morning and learned that i got a 3! woohoo! if you only saw me that very moment! i looked like crazy, smiling by myself. ahaha. before i went home, i decided to go to the Church and attend the Mass to thank God for granting my wish.

well, acctg1 isn't really that hard. and me almost failing, was my fault. i was too lazy listening to my prof and taking down notes. i shall be contented with a 3. but i promise this will be my last 3 in my life. magtitino na talaga ako next sem. itaga niyo yan sa bato.

(to prof. guantes, salamat po sa pagpasa sa akin. mabait ka naman pala eh. wahaha.)

18-03-08 story

i missed multiply-ing so i shall make a lot of entries. hohohoho. for this one i'll make kwento about my march 18.

my march 18 started with econ102. i was at home, cramming. studying the powerpoints while making the probset. then i thought i couldn't make it anymore. i needed some help from my dearest classmates. so i went to UP around 1pm. i stayed in the library and there i got all the help i needed. i finished my probset in 3 hours time. woohoo.

after that, i met my hs best friend, rachelle on the se lobby, handed her the book she was borrowing from me, then ran upstairs to submit my probset. i suddenly realized that i left my best friend without saying a word. i really felt bad doing that. and so i followed her in their tambayan in vinzon's hall and said sorry for going without even saying good bye to her. good thing it was no big deal for her. then we saw our other best friend, tricia. goodness i miss them so much. we were inseparable when we were still in high school. but now that we are in college, though we study in the same university, we barely see each other and we don't get to talk much anymore. awww.

i went back to the tambayan and when i arrived, they were talking about happiness [courtesy of jamoy]. what is happiness? i don't know how to define. who is/are my happiness? only one person knows and i shall share my happiness with that person. around 6:30pm we decided to go to katip's bar for the induction ball. thanks kuya noel for the ride!

the program started a little past 7pm. as far as i could remember we had the newly elected execomers, the awarding of the outstanding mems, the induction of the apps, the awarding of the outstanding apps, and the seniors' send-off. i just don't know if that's the right chronology of things. good job we apps! almost all of us made it through the cut.

i am now officially a member of the UP Economics Society. yey! but i really felt that all my efforts paid-off especially when i received the outstanding app award, along with dave, niki, terry, cathy, patrick, ogie, bhadz, kim, and the most outstanding app award for carl. IT REALLY WAS WORTH IT. i enjoyed every single moment of my app process and i am looking forward to more happy times now that i am a mem already.

after the awarding of the outstanding apps, we apps had a short presentation to show our appreciation to the whole ecosoc family. we sang a song and read a poem. i sooo love the poem and it goes like this:

then we had the oh so mushy, seniors' send-off. the seniors made an avp of their messages, sang a song "closing time", and said their final messages. seeing kuya enteng cry, triggered my tears to fall down as well. we will surely miss you all. we new mems promise to love ecosoc as much as you all did. good luck on your after-college life.

at the end, we said our good byes and gave hugs to all the people that we will miss.

as usual, i went home with kim and we had our usual cab conversations. i brought home kim first then headed to my own home. then suddenly, the crazy cab driver asked me if i could just get another cab coz he said he doesn't know the ways in tandang sora well. goodness gracious, it was 11pm and the roads were all dark! he had a pity left for me and i arrived home safely. whew!

it has been 6 days. oh i really miss ecosoc. awww.

ad hoc event

this is the event that i've been rooting for ever since i joined ecosoc. and yesterday, it finally took place! i was so excited for FLARE: The Summer Trigger, i even had my hair cut! wahaha. so let me tell you how my first ad hoc event was.

i'm an intern for ad hoc so i got the chance to help out in this event. together with joy and rox, i was assigned to assist the models for the fashion show. and so, we went to the "backstage" to do our jobs as PAs of the models. Bessy [i don't know if i spelled it right], the chubby gay fashion show handler, instructed us to familiarize ourselves with the models names. it was our duty to signal the models for their turns. it was quite hard memorizing names and faces for a short time, so we decided to divide the task. then suddenly, bessy pulled me and joy to be the floor directors. [just a quick story, when bessy pulled me, he said to me"oh btw, i love your dress." wahaha. thanks for the compliment!]. as floor directors we were asked to stick on the floor some x-marks where the models would, in fashion show terms, establish. ahaha.we were also asked to clear the catwalk and control the crowd. this wasn't easy as well coz there were so many people and the place was quite small. i know some people, especially the photographers were getting pissed at me because i was asking them to move away from the marks. ahaha. the fashion show went good and then it's party time!

i really partied hard and got wild on the dance floor last night. but would you believe that it's my first time to go party at a bar? it's also my first time to drink alcoholic beverages. well, not really drink coz i just took a sip. i was sane all the time i was dancing but i don't look sane. gets? the dance floor was too crowded, i was sweating like hell, but i just can't stop partying. i love it! ahaha. after a few hours of non-stop dancing, we finally decided to go out and breathe in some fresh air. then it became our routine to go back in and party and go out and have some fresh air again. we left absinth around 1:30am.

while waiting for my mom to fetch us, kim and i, along with pen and jo, had coffee in Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. then there was this lady in front of us who ordered a latte. she didn't pronounced it right, and me and kim, being the mean bitch girls that we are, started laughing at the poor lady's mistake. ahaha. well, i think she didn't notice that we were giggling because of her. and so my mom arrived and we left greenbelt. we brought home pen first, then kim, then me, of course. i arrived at home around 3am. i felt the power of the coffee taking effect on me so i wasn't able to sleep until 5am. those 2 hours i just studied for my acctg1 exam.

i just had my acctg1 exam a few hours ago and i hope i get good grades. good thing, the party didn't shake everything i studied. ahaha.

oh well, i really had super duper fun! good thing i decided to go to the ad hoc event though i have exams the following day. ahaha. to all the people i danced with, you know who you are! let's party again some other time, ok ok? and to the whole ad hoc committee, congratulations! flare was big hit! it was really nice working with you all.<3

the best word that describes this sem.

i have never felt this way about my studies. i have 8 subjects during the start of this sem. then i dropped pe2 scl late january, leaving me with art stud 1, mps10, acctg1, pe2 tmb, econ 102, econ 101. and guess what's the only subject that i feel i will be able to get 1? my pe2 tmb! waaah. my mps10 and art stud1 are ok but my econ101, econ102, and most especially acctg1 are not. just thinking about getting a 3 from any of these subjects pains me. what more if i get a 5? i will die. i have never failed a subject in my entire life and i don't want to. i shall be contented if i get a 3. oh well, it's my fault anyway. i wasn't able to concentrate much on my studies. but i think i still have the time to pull everything up.

this sunday, we'll be having our 3rd exam in acctg1. i've been reviewing for a couple of days so i better get a high grade there. on wednesday, assuming that i won't be exempted (which is most likely), i'll be taking my 3rd exam on econ102. for the finals week, i'll have exams on econ101 and another on acctg1.

i've finally decided to spend the remaining days of the holy week in our rest house in batangas and do my studying for my final exams there. meaning, i will be gone on the internet world for a few days. no multiply, no ym. i hope i can take it. i can't wait to see the beach. may the sea breeze bring back my passion for studying.

i'm still hoping for a CS standing. waaah.

liking you for 88 days and still counting

this has been my stat in ym for a few days now and a lot has been asking me "sino yan? ecosocer ba?" well, not exactly. haha. ecosocer minus the er. so what do you get? ECOSOC! i started counting the days from the apps orientation [november 30, 2007] up until today making a total of 88 days. i must say that these 88 days were the happiest days of my college life and i'm very sure that there will be more. i just enjoy the company of the ecosocers so much that i haven't missed any single event. i'm so addicted to it, i spend almost half of my day at the tambayan. i just love ecosoc.

now, the application process is almost at its end. we'll be having the challenge night this friday, the final interview next week, and hopefully my co-apps and i will see each other in the induction ball. i can't wait to be a member of this awesome org. i'll finally be able to say that IT WAS WORTH IT.

but i think i'll also miss being an app. haha. to my co-apps, i love you all! i think the application process wouldn't be the same without each and everyone of you. FULL BLAST APPS ARE THE BEST! good luck on our challenge night! i'm very sure we'll do great. haha. see you all in the induction ball, aryt aryt?

pagpopromote ng sisfire

sa hapong ito iginugol ko ang aking panahon sa pag-aaya sa mga tao na manood at pumunta sa sisfire. nagsimula 'to nung nagbigay ng poster sa genmeet. isa lang yung kopya ko kaya naisip kong idala na lang sa pe class ko at doon ipagkalat yung sisfire. sana nakumbinsi ko sila na pumunta. haha. mukhang natuwa naman sila kasi sabi ko may mini lovapalooza tas may libreng toothpaste pa kasi close-up yung sponsor. kaso wala pa ko tickets kaya hindi ko rin sila nabentahan. ahehe.

pagkatapos ng pe class namin bumalik kami sa tambayan. tumulong muna ako sa prodwork ng seccom [na super ganda! wahaha.] para sa tambay week . pagkatapos naglaro ako sa PS2 at sa kabutihang palad ay nanalo ako. may chance na ko sa starbucks gc! waaah. pagkatapos, naisip nina kenna at kim na magdikit ng poster ng sisfire sa sunken. kaso biglang dumating yung magdedeliver ng shirt na inorder ko thru multiply [sa pepetee] kaya nadelay muna kami. meron pala silang booth sa UP Fair kaya naibigay nila sa 'kin yung shirt sa econ mismo. nung paalis na sila, bigla kong naisip na bigyan sila ng poster ng sisfire para ipost sa booth nila! ahehe. kaya naman in return, ia-aadvertise ko naman ang pepetee sa inyo. bili kayo ng shirts sa kanila! super gaganda! eto multiply site nila - pepetee.multiply.com.

at nagsimula na nga ang adventure namin nina kenna at kim sa pagkabit ng posters sa sunken garden. una naming napagdiskitahan yung mga poste sa tapat ng econ. tas nakasalubong kami ng mamang tindero ng dirty ice cream at syempre nilagyan namin yung cart niya ng poster. pero bumili muna kami ng ice cream. ahehe. pati yung mga estudyanteng pauwi na, hindi nakaligtas sa amin. pati yung mamang tindero ng monay at mamang tindero ng taho nilagyan namin ng poster yung tinda nila. ahehe. pumunta rin kami sa beach house para magpost. papunta dun nakakita ako ng babaeng naka-quesci na uniform kaya binigyan ko din siya ng poster at inutusan ko pa siyang ipost yun sa school. sumagot siya at sinabi na meron na daw ganun dun [naks naman nakarating na pala yung poster ng sisfire dun]. ang sabi ko naman, i-post mo nalang sa blackboard niyo. wahaha. tinawid namin yung sunken at nagpost kami sa grandstand tas bumalik na kami sa econ.

finally, sweeney todd!

i finally got to watch sweeney todd! yay! we watched it altogether sa ecosoc tambayan and i really enjoyed it! the movie was good i must say. but it was kinda morbid. the slashing of the heads, the orangey blood and the human meat pies. ehw. anyway, johnny depp is so freakin hot, as always. his singing was great for a first timer. i didn't get to hear much of the singing part though, actually almost every line in the movie, coz it was quite noisy. thanks for those who tried to sing the lines aloud so that we could understand it better. you know who you are. ahaha.

my guess was right! the crazy woman was sweeney todd's wife! my insticts are really good. haha. but i never expected that the little boy would be the killing sweeney todd. i thought sweeney would kill himself after finding out that he murdered his own wife. i also thought that he would kill johanna coz she had seen him slaughtering judge turpin. oh well, the murder of judge turpin was the most unwatchable [kadiri. sorry for the lack of term.]. the blood squirting all over sweeney todd's face. waaah.

i super enjoyed watching it. way way better than seeing it in cinema. thanks kuya nathan [ang pasimuno]! haha. ang kulit sobra. when we were walking out of the tambayan after the movie nga, karl was trying to slash our heads off using his index finger! haha. sira ka talaga karl!

i can't wait to watch another movie at the tambayan. super duper fun. love love love!

of getting things

today, i got some of the things that i've been waiting for.

1st. i got my econ shirt and econ jacket! yay. the shirt was a bit big for me but over all it's super nice. the jacket, on the other hand, was so cool! i mean, where in up can you find a college with their own jacket? only in the school of economics! wahaha. the head on the hood of the jacket came out great too! i actually voted that the head be removed from the hood. good thing the one with adam smith's face won.

2nd. i got the result of my exam on acctg1. i was still munching on my lunch for the day [oreo] when i entered the room and saw ms. guantes giving away our papers. thank goodness i passed! i was expecting a lower grade since i didn't study much for it. oh well, i promise that from now on i'll absorb the lesson so that in the next exam i'll do better. wahaha.

3rd. i got my up centennial planner already! it's super pretty that i don't wanna use it. maybe it'll just serve as my souvenir for up centennial! wahaha.

end of a stressful week

i felt that all my energy was drained this week. with all the poems i need to make plus our exam in econ102 and the midsemcheck up. good thing everything's over.

i think my midsem check up went well. thanks ate cherish for being kind to me, as always! we finished early so i got to review before my exam. there were only six of us who took the exam in advance so the room was freezing cold making my brain not work properly. waaah. but the exam was uber hard. 1/4 of my answers were mere guesses. the other 3/4 i am not so sure about. after two hours, i gave up and submitted my answer sheet to the proctor. my classmates consumed the whole three hours so i waited for them for about an hour so that we could compare each other's answers. wahaha. since i'm done with my midsem and exam, i decided to go to trinoma. on the line for sm north, i saw my friend tricia whom haven't been with for the longest time! we got to chitchat on the way then we parted in trinoma. i rewarded myself with a take-out from sbarro then went home.

i'm really glad everything's done. i can now go back to my sleepful nights. i just hope the result of my exam be okay.

midsem check up madness

halos lahat ng co-apps ko ay tapos na mag-midsem check up. waaah. ako bukas pa! medyo kinakabahan na nga ako eh. kasi naman kanina lang ako sa lounge nag-aral para dun. ano kaya papagawa sa 'kin? pasasayawin ba ko? pakakantahin ba ko? o baka naman kakailanganin ko nang ilabas yung acting skills ko? wahaha. dun naman sa tanong na "who's your ecosoc crush?" may isasagot na ko! handa na ko ibulgar sa lahat kung sino siya! wahaha. actually, handa na ko sa lahat ng pwede mangyari! kung sino gusto manuod sa midsem check ko, sige go lang. isa lang ang sigurado ko, SABAW ako bukas. pero pakiramdam ko mag-eenjoy naman ako. yeah, that's the spirit!

may mensahe pala ko sa mag-iinterview sa 'kin: KUNG SINO KA MAN SANA MABAIT KA! MAY EXAM PA KO SA ECON 102 PAGKATAPOS NG MIDSEM CHECK UP! WAAAH.

yup. meron akong exam sa 30 minutes pagkatapos ng midsem check up ko. at hindi ko pa masyado maintindihan yung ibang topics! waaah. mas kinakabahan ako para sa exam ko. kaya nga walang tulugan ngayon. mag-aaral ako mabuti. sana lang makaya ko.

after one day of my so-called tambay diet, i gave up. the tambayan is just so irresistable for me. my day seems to be incomplete if i don't go there. haha. good thing i stopped coz i would've missed a lot of things. this week was just so fun!

tuesday. the photoshop workshop. wednesday.the MBA and the Clean App. thursday. the genmeet sponsored by seccom. friday. bonding with my darning and the killer game before going home.

i really enjoy staying at the tambayan. no more tambay diet for me. never again. haha.

yesterday, kim was able to see her long-time crush, bj manalo. and it was just by chance [destiny? haha.]. awww. God, how about me? when will i see chris tiu, in flesh, face-to-face? i've gone to many of their games in uaap last year but still, i wasn't able to see him. i almost did one time but he backed-off and rode a car coz the crowd was so big. huhuhu. i hope he goes to vinzon's too like what bj did! haha. but it's ok since there's so much around. huh? ahehehe. now, my crush for chris is slowly fading away. i don't blog so much about him anymore unlike the old times [check out my old posts. haha.]. but, he will always be the epitome/embodiment of my perfect guy. awww.

i'm craving for mcflurry right now. ahahaha.

tambay diet

kung ang pagtambay ay pagkain, baboy na siguro ako! almost 100 na kasi yung tambay hours ko. ang dami nga nanghihingi eh. haha. kaya naman, magda-diet muna ko sa pagtambay ngayong linggo.

my diet started today. and i did it! i was able to control myself and not stayed at the tambayan until we had the general assembly for the apps. whew! i spent my whole 4-hour vacant time with kim and we had the insanest day ever! haha.

so what did we do together? hmmm. we went to the tambayan around 11am but we backed off and went to vinzon's instead to eat lunch. when we arrived there, we saw bj manalo! we wanted to have a pic with him but we were too shy. haha. darn. kim has a math100 class, and since i have nothing to do and i'm on a tambay diet, i decided to sit-in in their class. it was really nice going back to math building!i super missed it. haha. during their class, i can't stop laughing on their prof. he looks like tyson sy from the petron commercial!haha. i'm so mean. after the math100 class, we decided to go to katipunan and eat at mcdo for merienda. our real plan was to walk from c.p. garcia to katipunan but thank goodness a tricycle arrived in front of the math building. ahehe. of course we had our favorite mcflurry plus fries. a little bit of camwhoring then we went back to econ. we went to my fave wash room [the one near se audi. haha.] to change my clothes for our pe class. we still had 30 minutes before our pe class so we decided to walk from econ to the arch range. whew! on our way, we saw karl and a man who's playing the violin. awww. for our pe we had a game : over and under. and we won as usual. nyahaha.

we had the general assembly for the apps around 4:15pm and discussed a few important things. that was first time i went inside the tambayan today. haha. awww. i'm so sad i won't make it to the MBA. it's the first event that i won't be able to go to. huhuhu. midsem check next week and my sched is jan. 25 1-2:30pm. good luck! waaah!

i saw jessyka and she's now officially my GMB [Gen Meet Buddy. since it was in one gen meet that we got close. haha.]. as for melanie and kimmie, i'm still thinking of what i'll call them. nyahaha. love love love.

i need a break...

i'm taking a break from the internet world for a few days, starting tomorrow. haha. i feel the need to focus more on my studies. super wala na akong maabsorb sa mga tinuturo ng profs ko. be it in econ101, econ102, or acctg1. and i super hate it. i want to maintain my cs standing or better yet be on a us standing this sem. paano na yung pangarap kong latin honors kung magloloko ako ngayon? pati yung pangarap kong MIT baka di na matupad pagnakaganun. well another thing, i'm planning to take a break sa pagtambay. i already have 80+ hours so i think it's ok. or kung di ko talaga matiis [dahil adik nga ako], baka bawasan ko na lang. mga 1-3 hours siguro. unlike the usual 6 hours i spent there everyday. haha.

i'm super drained today from morning and especially in the afternoon dahil sa catch the dragon's tail na yan sa teambuilding. nagkapasa nga yung braso ko dahil sa higpit ng hawak ni kuya rus. argh. but i'm slowly reenergizing and i think i'll be back in my normal hyper self in no time. wahaha.

yup. you heard it right. monthsary. i declared that myself. actually i have two monthsaries to celebrate each month. haha. but it's not the ordinary thing.

every 3rd day of the month, monthsary namin ni terry. wahaha. it all happened in our acctg1 class. kasi naalala ko bigla yung first meeting namin which was dec 3, 2007. sa ecosoc tambayan yun. eh january 3 that day kaya ibig sabihin isang buwan na kami magkakilala. yay. kaya naman ayun. haha.

during the 30th, it's mcflurry day! walang kokontra. promise, every 30th day of the month kakain ako ng mcflurry. kahit everyday pa nga eh. nyahaha. my only problem is february. wala kasing 30th day eh. wahaha.

super saya ng caroling! hindi ko ma-explain! buti na lang talaga sumama ako. haha. sobrang tawanan. bumabahang pagkain. walang kamatayang kantahan. at syempre camwhoring. well, here's the detailed story [meaning super haba na naman nito]:

day 1
dahil nga sabit lang kami, tinuro muna ni kuya gian yung mga kanta sa amin. the songs : come all ye faithful, gloria in excelsis deo, joy to the world, african noel, and we wish you a merry christmas. mga 6:30pm umalis kami ng up. tas dumating kami sa 1st stop [mr. sakai - dasma, makati] ng mga 8:30pm, salamat kay kuya driver. lahat ata ng ma-traffic na daan ay dinaanan namin. pagdating dun kanta agad kami kasi ang tagal na nila naghihintay eh. pagkatapos naming kumanta, nagrequest pa sila ng tagalog song. no choice naman, kaya kumanta na sila ng pasko na sinta ko, na nasama na rin bigla sa song list. nagrequest din sila ng japanese song pero asa naman na may alam kami di ba? haha. kainan na. medyo kakaiba yung mga sinerve na food pero ok naman. pagkatapos kumain, kinanta namin yung last song tas alis na agad papuntang 2nd stop [ate billie cabal - paranaque]. ang routine namin: kanta - kain - kanta. tas punta agad sa 3rd stop [karlo patron - paranaque]. medyo tulog na sila nung dumating kami. same routine. palabas sa bahay ni patron, kinailangan na naming mag-unahan sa van. iisa na lang kasi yung sasakyan at 20+ pa kami kailangang sumakay. haha. nagkasya naman kami pero talagang namanhid yung hita ko sa sobrang sikip. kaya para maibsan naman yung aming pagdurusa, nagkantahan na lang kami sa pamumuno nina kash at jholo! haha. mga 1am na kami nakarating sa 4th & last stop [kuya erik eleazar - cainta rizal] kasi naligaw pa kami. same routine lang din pero mas matagal lang kami dun. kaya nga mga 2:30am na kami nakabalik sa up.

day 2
practice muna bago kami umalis. medyo na-late si kim kaya hinintay muna namin siya tas umalis na kami papunta sa 1st stop [kate cruz - cainta, rizal]. medyo nahuli kami kasi nawala pa kami. haha. same routine again. tas we headed to the 2nd stop [ate peachy's family friend - valle verde]. same routine pero may nadagdag. kailangang mag-solo ng pasko na sinta ko yung may kilala or may-ari nung house. so yun, kumanta si ate peachy ng solo. btw, ang sarap nung spaghetti! sobrang nakakatawa din si jasper and yung mga dance step niya!the shoulders! haha. then punta na sa 3rd stop [ate yla paras - greenhills]. on the way, medyo na-bored kami kaya kantahan na naman courtesy of kim and ogie! pagdating namin kina ate yla, na-elibs kami dun sa blue light effect nung house nila! sakto sa christmas feel. haha. super sarap din nung pasta at brownies nila! medyo madami ako nakain. haha. papaunta sa 4th stop [kuya mico's aunt] lumipat si roda sa amin. medyo tahimik na kami dahil iba na ang mood. nawala pa kami. pagdating dun, same routine uli. sinubukan ni jasper mag-conduct! 1 2 3 Goooo! haha. tas si kuya enteng naman ang nag-solo ng pasko na sinta ko. yung 5th and last stop [kuya mico anabo] eh katabi lang pala kaya nilakad lang namin. kanta - kain - kanta na naman kami. si dave tinatawag namin kaso ayaw bumaba. tas si kuya mico ayaw mag-solo! haha. maaga kami nakauwi this time.

day 3
maaga ako dumating. sabi kasi nila 2pm ang call time eh. sa lounge lang kami nag-stay kasi sarado ang tambayan. tas after almost an hour, dumating si kuya aries at nabuksan na rin ang tambayan. grabe ang onti namin. kaya naman sobrang apektado ang aming pagkanta. haha. dapat 4pm alis na kami pero dahil inindyan kami nung kuya driver naghanap pa kami ng ibang masasakyan. nag-jeep kami papuntang philcoa tas dun kame nakahanap ng van. napakaluwag na namin. papunta sa 1st stop [ate czar carbonel] mabilis lang. same routine. grabe ang sarap nung palabok! nag-solo din nga pala si ate czar. haha. papunta sa next stop [raymond zabala - qc] kasama na si ate czar. sa van, todo asaran na sina kuya aries at kuya dennis. super nakakatawa silang magkulitan tungkol sa chinese! kanta - kain - kanta uli tas syempre nag-solo din si raymond! ang cute nung 2 babies sa bahay nila. haha. bago pumunta sa 3rd stop [kuya noel reyes - qc] sinundo muna namin si jholo sa may mrt station sa quezon ave. kina kuya noel, sa hagdan kame kumanta. ang resulta, sabog! kaya kinantahan na lang namin siya ng happy birthday since malapit na bday niya. palusot! tas habang kumakain kame, may natirang 2 plato ng canapes. nahiya naman kami iwanan kaya inubos na namin. required eh! haha. sa 4th stop [ma'am quimbo - qc] sumama na rin si kuya noel. nauna kami dun kaya nakipagchikahan muna kami sa prof namin. grabe ang ganda ng bahay nila! parang art gallery tas parang may bed pa sa garden. mga sosyal ang bisita. super bait pa nung husband niya. ahihihi. nung dumating yung iba, kanta na agad. ang ganda ng start. tas biglang basag. haha. kain na uli. yummy yung chocolate cake. bago pumunta sa 5th and last stop [ate lucia lopez - cainta, rizal] bumaba na si kim, kasi malapit lang yung bahay niya kina ma'am quimbo. meaning, mag-isang app na lang ako. haha. papunta, sabaw na kami. ang layo kasi eh. parang pupunta ng baguio kasi puro zigzag! haha. medyo gubat-gubat na yung lugar. scary! tas bumabanat pa sila kash, jholo at kuya dennis ng mga panakot! awoooo! nawala na kami. kaya halos 2 oras yung biyahe. dumating kami dun mga 1:45am na. sabaw na ang pagkanta namin. kumain lang andali tas uwi na. bagsak kami lahat. tulog. pagdating sa up nandun na lahat mga sundo nila. ako wala pa! waaah! nakakatakot maghintay mag-isa! salamat talaga kina ate czar, kuya aries, at kuya mykel sa pagsama maghintay sa 'kin! sorry sa abala. haha. can't wait til next year! haha. sasama uli ako!

ecosoc xmas party 07'

many things happened last week. and the biggest part of it is our preparation for the christmas eve/il.

almost every night, we had ym conference to discuss details of the party. from our costume to the decors to the souvenirs. it was only until wednesday that we had finally arranged everything. the backdrop, the tunnel, the execom tree. that night we crammed finding the pictures. stalking other's multiply to get them. haha. the next day, thursday, we started making the props and decors. for our program, the singing group was already polishing their songs, while the dancing group was still in the process of learning the steps.
friday afternoon, hours before the event, we started fixing the stage and the place. we were in a state of cramming. extension shortage, incomplete materials, unpolished dance! waaah!

the big night. the party didn't go exactly as we planned but it still came out great! thank goodness! the program flow went smooth. the games, the food, the guardian bidding, the presentations. whew! i must say that this one's the most unique and happiest christmas party i've attended!

to all the mems, thanks for appreciating all our efforts! we hope you had a blast that night! thanks to SPEV for helping us out with the preparation! and last but definitely not the least, to my co-apps, GOOD JOB! we did it! i so love you all! mwah mwah!

super exhausted but super enjoy

napagod talaga ako ngayong araw na 'to. isa lang ang subject ko pero naubos ang energy ko. super ngarag na sa pagpaplano ng acquaintance/christmas party. ginawa pa namin yung para sa backdrop ng stage. tas nagpractice pa ng sayaw. pero masaya naman. haha.

one of the bestest week ever in UP

my first week as an ecosoc app went good, as expected. masaya pala tumambay. you'll have a lot of new friends. i think as of today, i've introduced myself for the 500th time and heard a hundred plus names of people. coolness.

monday. sarah and i planned to go to the ecosoc tambayan lunch time but because we don't know anybody yet, we backed-off. we were too shy to mingle with the members. haha. around 4pm, we gained the courage to go to the tambayan and this time we made it coz we have a lot of co-apps with us. i got to know my co-apps and a few members.

tuesday. since i don't have my econ101 class, i decided to spend my time in the tambayan. and guess what? i stayed for 9 hours! haha. adik! well, i didn't feel the time passing coz i was busy talking with some co-apps and mems. we even played cards! haha. then we had our apps tbs. grabe sobrang saya talaga. we first played the game countdown. we almost didn't make it but because we're so competitive, we finished it! i was always number 11 in that game! so the real game started. i was in the blue team, together with sarah, sam, sammy, joy, maiko, melanie, cathy at carlala [a.k.a. spice boy]. except for the running, i enjoyed the whole process. our group won 2 awards! after all the groups arrived in the rooftop, we launched the rocket. GO ECOSOC FULL BLAST APPS!!!

wednesday. this day was so hectic. i had my sports climbing from 8-10am. then i ran to pcmc for my cwts and stayed until 12:30pm. then i went back to up for the eventology. when the lecture about eventology ended, we had a little activity wherein we need to plan an event. our group's event concept was a fun run. it was plain and simple, we didn't expect to win. but what can we do? our's was the most feasible event daw sabi ng execom. haha. FEASIBILITY is the key to success.

thursday. we didn't have mps10 so i just stayed at the tambayan. kwentuhan galore with my co-apps and some mems. then the genmeet. their presentation [advertising the UPdate planner] was great! i couldn't stop laughing! haha. i attended my acctg1 class after, then went back to the tambayan around 3:30pm. we played cards again. 123 pass. but this time, the loser will have to do a dare. haha. good thing i was fast so i didn't need to do any dare. haha.

friday. my class every tuesdays and fridays is only until 12nn. so this means more hours of tambay. i got my sigsheet already so i started asking some mems to sign. so far so good. then some of the mems "interviewed" us. haha. nakakatawa yung mga questions.

saturday. my first ever cdc. haha. it came out fun. the kids were so cute. plus their presentation [the poem and dance number] was good too. i also met some of the alumni who were super kind to sign my sigsheet. after cdc, crisan, kat and i went to DAR to watch the jpes. when we arrived, the mems said that they lack players. and so we have to join them. kat played futsal and i participated in patintero. it was really a nice experience playing with the mems. haha. we didn't win in the patintero. but we won in futsal! yay! ECOSOC 2 TIME CHAMPION IN FUTSAL! haha.

thank you for bearing with my long story. i can't help it. haha. this week was one of the best in my UP life. i'm looking forward for more. sa wakas, hindi na ko maaga umuwi. haha. so much love! ich liebe ecosoc.

i'm joining an awesome org!

when i started my college life in UP, i vowed that i will never join any student organization. i have three main reasons for that: one, i want to focus on my studies. two, i'm too lazy to go to the activities of the org. three, i'm afraid of the application process. and so, i had my first year plain and simple. no orgs. but then i started to see that almost everybody have their own orgs. and they're all so happy about it. meeting new friends and having many fun activities. all of these made me feel that i was missing a big part of my college life. i'm tired of going home early! goodness! i want to have a social life! haha.

now that i have chosen the career path i want to take [which is being a great economist! haha.], i decided to apply to an org. good thing i have kim and sarah with me. the org i'm applying for is tadaaah: ECOSOC! i chose to join that one because i felt that the people are so nice and friendly and i think that i'll have so much fun joining them.

early today, i attended the apps orientation. i must say that ECOSOC IS REALLY FUN!!! i had a great time watching all of the committees' presentation. there was no dull moment. plus the members were uber kind and warm. i am willing to do whatever it takes to be in this org! magpapakabibo na 'ko! i won't defer, promise! and by the end of this sem, i'll be able to say that IT'S WORTH IT [just like what the other memebers were saying kanina] and i'll be a fully pledged ecosocer! itaga niyo yan sa bato! haha.

the rush of sports climbing

kanina, nagkaroon na kame ng pre-test sa sports climbing. streching streching muna kame nung una. tas pinag push-up & sit-up kame. naka-fourteen lang ako dun. haha. tas nag-umpisa na ang pagclimb. isa-isang tatawagin tas kelangan mag-climb hanggang sa kaya mo. kinabahan talaga ako kasi nga hindi naman masyado flexible ang katawan ko. medyo pinapawisan pa yung kamay ko kaya feeling ko dudulas ako at hindi makakakapit. haha. nakakahiya sa mga classmates mo kapag hindi mo man lang naabot yung second wall! haha. so yun, hinihintay ko yung turn ko. medyo matagal. ang gagaling nung mga classmate ko. easy lang sa kanila. parang si spiderman lang. haha. ako yung pangalawa sa huli. so nag-climb na ko at kaya ko naman pala. nakaabot ako sa fourth wall! yey! nung pagbaba ko tsaka ko naramdaman yung sakit s katawan. nanginig yung arms ko! haha. sobrang masaya pala ang sports climbing! ang dame ko na rin naging friends. ang cool pa ni mam tal! haha.

nov. 9 - first day of classes

i don't understand why we had our first day on a friday. haha. they should've moved it on monday coz i still have subjects to enlist. argh. it's been three days and i'm not yet done with my registration. i didn't have the chance to enlist today coz i attended my classes. i was scared that i'll lose my slot if i don't. now, my only chance is to prerog. i just want 2 pe. please.

first day was quite fun. my first class is econ 102. i'm so happy that i know most of my classmates. plus my prof's super kind! she explained the course a bit then dismissed us. my next class was econ 101. it is still in the same room. haha. that means i'll be sitting in the same room for 4 straight hours! it's ok coz my prof in 101 is cool. she is not boring at all. i'm really looking forward to our future topics. i'm so loving economics!

enrollment the up diliman way!!!

haist. after three sems in upd, i've already accepted that enrollment can never be done within a day. worse is, it gets more complicated every sem. haha. like the daily batch run thing and the online teacher's prerogative. it took me a while to understand it. fyi, the daily batch run is just like the online pre-enlistment. the difference is you cannot do it at home. you can only access it through computers within upd (e.g. library, computer lab). the results will be released the next day. the teacher's prerog is a little more complicated. if you fail to get subjects during the batch run, your last resort is this. you need to go to the college where the subject you want is offered (e.g. natsci1 - CS) and enlist there if slots are still available. what i don't understand is if it goes the same way as the prerog we used to know. wherein you go to the subject you want (e.g. natsci1 8:30-10:00am CS audi) and beg for the prof to accept you. haha. good luck.

wednesday, i will get my form5a and class cards. thursday and friday, i will enlist subjects. i hope i'll be able to get the subjects during the batch run. god help me. haha.

super stressed ako this passed few days. pero ok lang.
gusto ko lumabas ng bahay. mamasyal.
wala kase magawa eh.
lage na lang ako nakaharap sa computer.
check ng email, multiply, friendster, etc.

kanina tinignan ko yung crs at isang subject na lang ang walang grade [fil40].
line of 1 lahat maliban dun sa math100 ko.
kaya may pag-asa pa kong mag-CS! haha.
basta yung fil40 dapat 1.5 pataas! good luck!
nakakuha na ko ng mga subjects: acctg.1, econ 101, econ 102, art stud1.
14 units pa lang yun. kelangan ko pa ng 1 MST at 2 PE.
pero paano ko makukuha yung mga yun, eh kame yung huling batch!
mauubusan na ko ng slot. argh.
kakaasar talaga yung enrollment.
speaking of enrollment. next week na pala yun.
ibig sabihin, malapit na rin mag-umpisa ang 2nd sem. haha.

and so i checked the crs.
haha. i really laughed when i saw my grade!
amongst all my subject, panpil17 is my 2nd to the last priority.
but i must say that i had fun taking this class.
especially the docu part. though it was quite exhausting.

meron kameng review session ni joy para sa final exam sa econ11. dapat kasama si kim kaso sabe niya mag-aaral pa siya sa math17. pero nagbago din ang isip niya kaya pumunta siya. at mas maaga pa siya sa amin ni joy! kase ang tunay na plano 10am, eh nung nagbackout si kim sabe ni joy 11am na lang. haha. ako 12nn dumating. lagi talaga akong late! may dala akong mcdo. nainggit yung dalawa kaya nagpadeliver din sila. kaso nung dumating yung mcdo nila, napalayas naman kame sa vinzon's! argh. so dun na lang kame sa lobby ng econ audi kumain. nagpaconsult kame kay mam. tapos, sa all time favorite place namen ang discussion room, nagreview kame ng mga isang oras. haha. mas mahaba pa yung kwentuhan namen kesa sa pagrereview.

tuesday
though i woke up early, i was still 15 minutes late. thanks to the traffic jam. argh. good thing the exam also started late. and so, i took the exam and finished it about an hour. i waited for joy outside. after 30 minutes, joy got out of the room. we decided to go to trinoma to vent off our worries about the exams. i really had fun! we did a lot of crazy things! let me cite a few of those funny things that we did:

1 we were eating in food choices and we were seated in the box-like place with a comfy seats. a lot of people was eyeing on that place. haha. ching! before leaving the seat, joy and i decided to place a "reserved" sign on the table! haha. then we left the place and waited if people would actually believe the reserved sign. and guess what? nobody dared seat on that place! haha.
2 we played in the escalators. we tried to go against the flow of the escalator. and we did it! a lot of times! haha.

wednesday
labasan na ng resulta ng exams. nalaman ko ang score ko sa 4th exam sa math100. grabe. hindi nakakatuwa ang score ko. argh. tapos pumunta naman ako sa econ para tignan yung resulta ng final exam ko. exempted talaga ako sa final exams, kaso naisip ko na baka mahila pa pataas yung grades ko kapag nagfinals ako. pero walang nangyari. ganun pa rin ang grade ko. sayang ang pagod ko mag-aral uli. haay.

this sem is a hell sem! goodbye to my CS standing. huhuhu. but i promise, next sem i'll be aiming for US! haha. good luck to me!

i haven't been posting for a while coz i have hell of things to do. but i'm almost at the finish line right now. i'll be doing it backwards, starting from what happened today.

this afternoon i had my 4th long exam in math 100 [calculus]. i'm pretty sure i'll fail this one. haha. i was only able to answer four out of eight! and i'm not so sure about those four items! argh. math 100 is easier than math 17 except for the last part, the derivative & integral of trigonometric functions & logarithmic functions. i hate that topic so much. argh. enough of that. i just hope this doesn't pull down my grades bigtime. i'm calculating my grades right now and i think i'll be losing my college scholar standing. awwh. i really want to maintain it coz i'd like to graduate with latin honors [in my dreams! haha.] that will be of great help for my plans in studying masterals abroad. haha.

about the blue eagles' loss last sunday, it's okay. i know they did everything fair & square. at least before that, i've seen you guys. haha. the story goes like this. kim, joy & i watched the 4th meeting of admu & dlsu last thursday. right after the game, we went to the south gate and waited for the players to come out. and, after about half an hour of waiting, the blue eagles showed up. i saw them all! yay! i also got pics with some of them! yay! i wasn't able to take some pic with chris though. argh. he didn't go out like the other players did. he rode a starex coz there were too many people waiting for him. haha. i'm one of them. but i saw him closely. i was in front of the gate and he was about 2 meters away. he's really much cuter in person. i almost melted. mwahaha.

anyway, our documentary project in panpil17's much fun than i expected. thanks to all my makukulit na groupmates! haha. our topic is boobs: the bigger, the better?. haha. on our first shoot we went to trinoma and interviewed some men about their views on our topic. their answers were really funny. haha. the next shoot we interviewed again people, this time about slang terms for boobs, and we recorded the skit. we were suppose to go to marikina sports complex to shoot a scene in the race track but we ended up eating in yellowcab and camwhoring in katipunan. haha. so what's the result? cramming! tomorrow's the submission but we're not done yet. haha. good luck to us. at least we had fun during the process. haha.

anyway, i just want to comment about the la salle shirt saying: push the limit, animo spirit. animo means spirit/soul. so saying animo spirit is some kinda' redundant. just like saying pizza pie. haha.

as usual, i cheered for the blue eagles at the top of my lungs [though i'm only at home, looking crazy. haha.] revenge is really sweet. *evil smile* i was really heartbroken last year when ateneo lost to ust. now, it's ust's time to cry. *bumabaha uli sa espanya. parang nung isa linggo. haha.*

it really shocked me that chris was not in the first five. oh well, coach norman black's plan did well. during the first half, the blue eagles was struggling. it was in the second half that they got the lead. good thing they maintained that lead to the end. haha. chris did good but it really pisses me off whenever he's hurt. especially when he was hit in the back by jervy cruz. argh. now cruz' is the one badly hurt, hurt with their loss. btw, i love ateneo's cheering paraphernalia. the one with FIGHT on one side and WALA on the other side. haha.

i'm now looking forward to the ateneo-la salle game. if god permits, they will meet 5 times this season. i haven't watched any games of the blue eagles yet and i think their game this thursday will be my first. haha. i will buy tickets tomorrow morning. up to five tickets if i can. the 3 will be for me and my friends and the other 2 will be for those who are desperate enough to buy them at a higher price. mwahaha.

dapat talaga hindi na kame manunuod ni tricia ng cheerdance eh. wala na kase kame mabilihan ng tickets eh. pero super thanks talaga kay ANNA G at sa friend niya na may extra tickets kahit general admission lang!

nagkita muna kame sa UP then we headed to araneta. kumaen kame sa kfc. after nun nakipagmeet na kame dun sa bibilhan namen ng tix. at yun na nga, pumasok na kame around 1pm. wala pa masyado tao nun. medyo boring nga nung umpisa eh. syempre nabuhay yung crowd nung pinakita na yung highlights nung cheerdance last year. at syempre, UP ang pinakamalakas mag-cheer!

UP! to the nth time. haha. paulit-ulit kameng ganun kase ang tagal mag-umpisa ng UP. so nag-umpisa na. astig talaga yung pakulo nila. maganda naman yung puwesto namen sa gen ad kaso di na namin nakita masyado yung sa UP kase taas kame ng taas ng kamay. ok lang kase masaya naman. school spirit! haha. ang gaganda ng stunts at talagang sabay-sabay sila. wala akong masabe! perfect yung routine nila! pagkatapos ko mapanood yung sa UP naramdaman ko na kame na talaga yung mananalo! haha.

sunod yung feu and maganda naman yung sa kanila. akala ko nga sila yung 1st runner runner up eh. syempre inaanticipate ng tao yung presentation ng ust. pero sadly, hindi ganon kalinis yung ginawa nila. may nagkamali, di nakasabay, at nahulog. yung costume pa nila eh di rin ganun kaganda. akala ko nga hindi sila makakasama sa top 3 eh.

sobrang natawa lang ako kase ang lakas mang-asar ng UP. ganito kasi yun. may banner yung ust nakasulat : kami po ang university of santo tomas. sinagot yun ng UP nakasulat : UP KAMI. [if you don't know, there's this notion na dalawa lang ang university sa pilipinas, UP at others. haha.] tapos isa pang banat ng UP eh yung: SO?. haha. ang sama namen. tuwing nagkakamali naman yung salinggawi, naghihiyawan yung mga taga-UP! ang lakas di ba? haha. at dahil dun natahimik yung side ng ust.

nung malapet na i-announce yung mga winners hiyawan kame ng hiyawan dahil talagang feeling namen panalo na UP! lalo na yung lumabas na yung UP pep squad. tapos sinabi na yung 2nd runner up: feu. hiyawan na uli kame. nag-commercial break muna tapos sinabe naman yung 1st runner up: ust. talagang todo hiyawan na yung mga taga-up! haha. sino pa bang magiging champion? syempre yung UP! haha. sobrang saya talaga. at least may pambawi na kame dun sa 0-14 ng fighting maroons sa uaap men's basketball! haha. hindi talaga kame umalis dun agad. feel na feel namin yung pagkapanalo namen! cheer uli kame ng "Unibersidad ng Pilipinas. Unibersidad ng Pilipinas...." nakakatuwa kasi nakisabay na din yung ibang universities sa pagcheer namen! tapos kinanta rin namen pa yung "UP naming mahal." haha.

hanggang sa paglabas ng araneta feel na feel ko yung pagkapanalo ng UP. ang dame ko ngang narinig na nag-uusap at ganito ang sabe nila: "Sabi ko na UP mananalo eh! Ang ganda kasi nung ginawa nila." syempre bilang isang UP student, super proud ako. tumitingin nga yung mga tao sa 'kin kasi naka-up shirt ako eh. haha!

congrats sa UP pep squad at sa buong UP na rin! sa centennial uli dapat manalo tayo sa cheerdance! hehe.

my god! the game was so nerve racking! you really can't tell who's gonna win coz the scores were so close! haha. thank god ateneo won! i'm really proud of chris. he was the one who carried the team throughout the game. he was 4 out of 5 in the 3pt area. i think he got the most points. he wasn't presented as the player of the game though. it was yuri escueta. haay. sana si chris na lang. oh well, give chance to others.

i was shouting the whole time. feeling ko nasa araneta din ako. haha. para daw akong sira sabe nung tita ko. but what can i do? it's an ateneo-la salle game! yelling is necessary or else you'll have a heart attack! sayang, i wasn't able to watch it live. first of all, i don't have a ticket [which is the most impossible thing to have if you're not from either of the schools]. second, i have no one to go with. haha. mas maganda naman view sa tv pero iba pa rin yung live. i haven't watch a single ateneo game this year. so that means i haven't seen chris play yet. haay. sa semifinals na lang coz i think they already included there because of their win today.

well, if you've seen the game, during the last split second, rico maierhoffer was able to make a basket. if they've counted that, there would be an overtime. luckily, when the time was 0.0, the ball wasn't released yet from maierhoffers hand, meaning it won't be counted. i feel sorry for la salle. haha. anyway, i hope that they beat ue coz i really don't want ue to be in the finals. that's no fun.

by the way, i'll sure be in the cheerdance competition. haha. go ateneo! one big fight! [though i'm from their neighboring university! haha!]

issue na 'to!!! hahaha!

there are a lot of things that pisses me off these past few days. and, since i consider blogging as an outlet, then let me blurt out all the issues that irritates me, most of which are about politics. haha.

issue no. 1 - fraternities & hazing
sigurado 'ko na most of you have heard of cris' death. i don't know him personally but still, learning the fact that my fellow up student, who i could've passed by in the as lobby or seen eating in casaa, died for this so-called "brotherhood", really made me sad. he didn't deserve it. not at all. he was suppose to graduate this school year, with latin honors. i assume he also dreamt to be a lawyer because his course is a pre-law course [BA Public Administration]. he had done all of these for his family. paano na ngayon, eh wala na siya? the idea of hazing & fraternities & sororities really pisses me. brotherhood? kapatiran? hindi mo ba pwedeng makita yun sa mga kaibigan mo? i was walking through the lobby of SE and there was a freedom board with the question "is the pain [of hazing/for fraternity] worth it?" well, for me, definitely no. what can you get from it? at least in student orgs you have a certain goal. but from fraternities? ano, yung kapag may nakaaway ka, kaaway na rin nila? puro gulo lang ang aabutin mo. may magkatinginan lang ng masama yung members ng magkaibang fraternities, away na agad, frat wars. argh. may nabasa nga ako dun sa freedom board "fraternity. prerequisite: courage/stupidity. corequisite:death." hear, hear. sa tingin ko, hindi enough yung anti-hazing law. eradicate fraternities in universities. that i think is the best solution.

issue no. 2
the plunder case of erap. in just a few days, the sandiganbayan will release their verdict on this. i think the prosecution had done their best and erap would be convicted. he should be put into jail, along with his son, jinggoy who's also an accused. naiinis lang ako dun sa survey ng sws saying that a high percentage of filipinos wanted erap to be given presidential pardon and believes that he is not guilty. it's so obvious that this survey was manipulated since it was erap's colleagues who had done it! argh. another thing is that, some anti-erap, back when the trial's still starting, is now on erap's side. let me name a few. loren legarda & manny villar. loren legarda even cried when the second envelope was not opened. she believed back then that erap is corrupt, but now, she's with them. so plastic. no conviction. manny villar became popular for letting erap's impeachment case reach the senate. remember the scene where he was pounding the gavel though some pro-erap congressmen are still pleading? i think it's because of that that he was elected senator in 2001. but now he's on erap's side because they're hot right now. people are not into PGMA so villar needed to go to the other side. how user-friendly. certified turncoat. oh well, that's enough.

today's the last day of the UPCAT. two years ago, i took this 6-hour uber hard exam. i'm in the third batch, august 7, 2005, 5:30 am. i remember, i had LSS with the song "someday" by britney spears, during the exams! i don't know why! maybe because in my way to UP, i heard it thrice?! haha! anyway, in our school [quesci] it's somewhat compulsory to take the UPCAT. UP is the dream school for us. i even attended review classes during summer just to make sure i'll pass it. the review classes didn't help me much in the exams though. but i really enjoyed it coz i was with my friends! i just used the things i learned from the review classes in our fourth year lessons, especially in math [the logarithm & the parabola thing]! going back to when i took the UPCAT, the next day, monday, we were all talking about the exams! haha! we were asking each other "ano sagot mo sa no.1?","natapos mo ba yung math part?","nahirapan ka ba?" things like that! then the nerve racking part was waiting for the results. for six months, we were teasing each other about whether we would be accepted in UP. the results came out february 28, 2007. we were having our final exams during that time. the people were texting their friends from UP asking whether they passed or not! then on the middle of our exam, we heard people from the other section shouting "pumasa 'ko sa upcat!" the people went mad [that includes me]! we finished our exams for about 15 minutes then headed to UP to look at the results! i was really happy & proud when i saw my name there! my efforts paid off! i'll be studying in one of the most prestigious school in the philippines! i felt sad though for my classmates who didn't make it. well, that's life.

i'm really thankful that i got into UP. adjusting to the new environment was so easy since i have a lot of classmates to be with there. it's just in the walking and walking part and the enrollment part, that i had a hard time! but now that i'm on my second year, i already got used to lots of walking and the super long days of enrolling! haha! tchus!

kaninang umaga, nag-exam kame sa econ11. medyo na-late pa nga ako ng mga ten minutes eh, pero ok lang kasi di naman sila agad nagstart. ok lang yung exams. medyo easy kasi multiple choice! hahaha. after mga 45 minutes siguro, natapos ko na. and ngayon, pagbukas ko ng email add ko, nakita ko yung email nung teacher namen, ang subject : econ11 exam results! goodness gracious! ang bilis naman niyang na-check! hahaha. sabe niya wala daw bumagsak! ang average grade nga nung section namen is 42.6 eh. tapos may nakakuha pa ng 51 out of 52! sayang, isa na lang sana perfect na niya! ako kaya, anu score ko?

after nung exam sa econ11, pumunta na ko sa math100 ko. tapos tumambay muna ako sa cal library. tapos pumunta na ko sa kas2 ko. ayon, nagreport lang yung mga group tapos onting kwentuhan. sinabe ni sir yung types of tests na kasama sa exam. una, modified true or false. pangalawa, piliin kung alin ang naiba, tapos i-explain mo kung baket siya iba. pangatlo, essay. ang mga questions yung tipong ganito: from the teachings of all asian religions, form a new religion which you think is appropriate for the current state of our society. oh come on! at pang-apat, blank map. asian map. tapos kailangan alam mo din yung mga capitals at kung ano yung mga land and water forms sa asia. asus! nakakaiyak! sobrang pahirap na 'to.

anyway, nag-make-up class kame sa kas2 after nung kas2 namen. ang gulo di ba? anim kame na tinuruan ni sir santillan. asian religions yung topic. nung tapos niya nang i-discuss yun, nagkwentuhan na lang kame. masaya naman. tawa kame ng tawa. meron kameng kasama dun na cute [medyo parang hawig niya si chris]. tawagin na lang natin siyang "kuya." sabe nung classmate ko, yung kutis daw niya ay mala-gatas. naks! maputi kasi siya tapos makinis. MBB [molecular biology & biotechnology. course ng matatalino!] yung course niya at third year na siya. galing siyang PhiSci. ayun, nabanggit ko lang. ahehe.

uaap season 70 : honesty through sports [talaga lang ha?! hehehe.]

watching UAAP is really great! as usual, i shouted & cheered with my throat almost coming out [when i got home 6pm i went straight to bed then woke up 10pm]! hahaha.

friday. i planned that to wake up 8:30am on saturday so that i would be in rachelle's house by 10: 30am. i wanted to ask her about sum math stuff [limits, continuity, infinite limits. god. nosebleed.].

saturday. this is the day. as usual, i didn't get to follow my plans! i woke up 10am! and so i went straight to the bathroom, took a bath, dressed up, ate a little and then went to rachelle's house. in going to rachelle's house, i rode a taxi. i thought it would be a lot easier but the driver didn't know the way so i ended up riding a tricycle to reach my destination. i arrived there around 11:45am! whew! minutes later, tricia arrived. we ate lunch then went to araneta [rachelle's house is just across the araneta center. hahaha.]. when we got there, the UP side is almost full. the other side are occupied by mostly DLSU & UST.

the opening program was a mere dance & song number, just longer than the usual. we were a little bored so we went out to look for some cheering paraphernalia [the hand thing and the bandana]. we didn't get anything. argh. what we saw was DLSU stuffs, overflowing green stuffs. they're not really excited huh?! why not? they haven't played for a year. it's just rightly that they celebrate. by the way, we saw iya villania [is she DLSU's muse coz she was wearing Simon Atkin's jersey?] and some UE players asked for her picture. we went back and the game started. we have all predicted that we won't win, but not like this. 3 minutes had passed but we still haven't scored yet while la salle already had a two-digit score! gosh, that's so embarassing! haha. we got our first score on a three-point shot by i don't know who. the game continued on with UP never stealing the lead. la salle was always 10 or more points away. how sad. the game ended with the score 82 - 61.

what i really looked forward to this opening was to see chris tiu! and i did! he was still as cute as always [though my view in upper box b is far]. after the opening ceremonies, i thought they would just go but i was surprised to see him sitting on the patron, watching the game between UP & la salle. maybe they're studying la salle's play. he was wearing a dark blue adidas shirt. they didn't finished the game and went out during the half time. during the entire game, they flashed mac-mac cardona & joseph yeo, the oh so famous old players of the archers.

just a little trivia. when i was still in high school, i was a fan of the Green Archers, especially joseph yeo. i remember the finals game between DLSU & FEU. we were watching it [through my small handy tv] during our Physics class! hahaha. now there are just a few left from the old team. maierhoffer, tang, casio, & villanueva. anyway, in the new team, i really noticed simon atkins. he's so maangas [to the highest level]. glad he got fouled out! hahaha. currently, i'm a fan of the Blue Eagles, chris tiu to be exact. hope i'd get to see the game between the eagles & the archers. that's july 26, 4pm, araneta coliseum. the problem is, how would i get those precious tix. God help me!!!!!

haay. gusto ko sana manood nung concert ni christina aguilera ngayon sa bonifacio global city kaso, wala sa budget. dame ko pa kasi ibang bibilihin. dati rati ang dame ko pera pang nuod ng mga concert. pinanuod ko nga yung concert nina mandy moore at avril lavigne eh. pero sa tingin ko dun naman sa concert ni chirstina aguilera ngayon, yung kanta lang niya sa bagong album niya yung kakantahin niya. kaya nga siguro back to basics tour yung tawag sa concert niya di ba?! di naman ako masyadong familiar sa bago niyang songs, kaya ok lang din na di pumunta.

Harry Potter and the Order f the Phoenix na next week! gusto ko na talaga siya makita. unang plano ko sana, panuorin sa IMAX kaso walang budget. 400pesos, wala pa yung pagkain at pamasahe dun. gusto ko sana manuod kasama yung mga kaibigan ko, kaso medyo kj sila. baka di daw sila payagan ng magulang nila. [argh. ang tatanda niyo na! kaya niyo na ang sarili niyo! sabihin niyo yan sa magulang niyo. joke lang!] so, ang last resort ko ay manuod kasama ng tita ko. baka sa trinoma na lang kame manuod. sa july 11 ko panunuorin yun. meron pa nga akong exam sa math 100 sa araw na yun pero mas naiisip ko pa yung HP. ahehehe. speaking of math 100, grabe, dinudugo na 'ko! limits, continuity, derivatives! argh! super nosebleed! in fairness, tuwing nababanggit yung "the limit does not exist" nanaalala ko yung movie na mean girls! hahaha.

ngayon lang ako nakaranas ng ganitong kadameng assignments sa UP. nung unang dalawang semester ko, easy lang. naging college scholar nga ako eh. ngayon, tambak na ako sa trabaho. ang dameng papers na kailangang i-submit. ang dame pang quizzes. pero ok lang. kinakaya ko pa naman. enjoy naman ako sa mga subjects ko. sana lang ma-maintain ko yung pagka-college scholar ko. ahihihi.

i'm looking forward to a lot of things this july. first, the UAAP season 70. last year was really great. i got to watch all the three games of the finals [admu vs. ust. i'm with admu. hehe.] and it was super fun, especially that nerve racking one-second shot of doug kramer. and how can i ever forget chris tiu! it's his last year of playing in the blue eagles so i should see more of him. by the way, the first game is up vs. dlsu. i bet dlsu would win. haha. second, harry potter and the order of the phoenix movie! i really want to see the first kissing scene of daniel radcliffe. i heard that they had 30 takes with that kissing scene! hmpf. and last but definitely not the least, harry potter and the deathly hallows. i'm really sad that it's ending. i just hope no main character will die, just like in the two previous books. i already had mine reserved months ago and in 23 days, i'll be able to read it.

haay. super pagod ako ngayong araw na 'to. inayos ko kasi yung paglipat ko sa school of economics. oo, BS economics na ako ngayon. so, sinubmit ko yung permit to transfer at property clearance ko. akala ko, dun na magtatapos yun, hindi pa pala. kaya na-exercise na naman yung mga paa 'ko sa pag-ikot-ikot sa UP. pagkabigay nung college admission slip sa 'kin, pinapunta ko nung babae dun sa registrar. natandaan na lumipat na nga pala yung OUR, di ko lang mataandaan kung saan. naalala ko lang na parang malapit sa NISMED. so yun, lakad uli ako. nung makarating na ko sa tapat ng NISMED, di ko alam kung kakanan ako o kakaliwa. kumaliwa ako. lakad ako ng lakad hanggang sa makarating ako sa casaa. magpapaload sana ko kaso sarado yung nagpapa-load. kaya dumeretso ko dun sa dating office of admission. dun ko nalaman na dapat kumanan pala ako. hehehe. kawawa naman ako! huhuhu. eh di super lakad na naman ako hanggang makarating ako dun. nakuha ko na yung university admission slip so pumunta na ko ulit ng SE. tamang-tama naman pagdating ko dun, lunch break na nila! hahaha. naisip ko kumain muna so pumunta ako ng trinoma at kumain dun andali. tapos bumalik din ako ng UP. sa sobrang pagod ko, nakatulog na 'ko sa jeep. hehehe. nung isasubmit ko naman yung university admission slip, sabe nung babae pumunta muna ako dun sa computer center para papalitan yung college ko sa crs. haay, lakad na naman. pumunta na nga ako dun at nag-papapalit ng college tapos sinubmit ko na yung slip sa SE. sa wakas natapos na din ako! kulang na lang yung id ko na sa enrollment ko na ipagagawa.

malls, malls, and malls....

waah! i'm not stuck at home anymore! last week, i spent each day on different malls.

first stop: SM North Edsa. i don't know how many times i've been there. hundreds of times maybe? hahaha! why not? my high school's just behind it so almost every day, back then, i go there. i think i've memorized each and every corner of that mall. well, i've lots of memories there especially in Burger King where my friends and i used to hang out. i remember, we always order blazing burger meal and one refillable drink which we all share. enough of my sentiments.

next stop: Gateway. i used to live a street across gateway but before it was finished, we moved to tandang sora. when we were still staying in cubao, only taco bell was open so that's where my dad and i ate on our first time in gateway. though we're not living in cubao anymore, i go to gateway very often especially during sales. i always see many of my elementary classmates there coz the school's just across gateway. oh well.

last stop: Mall of Asia. at first, my mom and i were choosing whether we'll go to MOA or Glorietta. then finally, we decided to go to MOA. on our way there, we passed through ayala ave. where i saw a sign saying "welcome to baranggay urdaneta." i remembered, that's where chris tiu's living and he's the SK chairman there! and so i looked down the sign and i've seen his name. there were also other tiu's and alandy dy's on the sign, maybe they're his relatives. anyway, we just strolled around MOA. i bought a jumper skirt in penshoppe then we ate in yellow cab. we walked around again and i saw chris' picture on one of the stores [Eiko]! i really miss seeing him play basketball! well, in three months time i will! hahaha!

yeah, malls are great, it's putting me off my house. it's quite tiring to go around though. oh well, i'll be having mall tours around manila so see yah there! hahaha!

my day out of home. destination : greenhills

today, my aunt and i went shopping on Greenhills. we went out around 2pm when the sun is at its highest so it was really really hot! i wanted to buy a pair of shorts and a mini dress but i'm not sure if it'll fit me so i didn't. i ended up buying two pairs of cute flats, all for 580 pesos! wooh, it's super bargain! after an hour and a half, we decided to eat.

the restaurants were fully packed so we just ate in KFC. upon entering we sighted some teen stars, the Roco twins and another guy who goes out on tv [i don't remember his name]. after we ate, i sighted cello's on the other side of the road. i didn't know they had a branch in Greenhills. we went there and buy half a dozen of yummy doughnuts which is what i'm munching on right now!

haay... shopping is really good but it's quite tiring coz it's so hot and there's so many people [plus many money is needed! hahaha!]. what i want is to swim on the beach! it's burning hot here in manila and all i can do is to take a bath three times a day! hahaha!

my UBER boring summer!!!!!!!!!!!

waah!!! my summer is uber boring! i've nothing to do but stay home. most of my friends are taking summer classes, leaving me alone. hehehe. actually, i was supposed to take summer classes [math 53] but i chose not to. why? three straight hours of math, five days a week? i can't take that!so here i am, stucked here at my room, either watching dvds or surfing the net. well, i'm planning to roam around malls in metro manila with my cousins, just to say that i have something to do this summer. hope it would be quite fun!

to throw away my boredom as of the moment, i'm trying to revive my talent in playing the piano. i stopped having piano lessons when i was in grade 6, but every now and then i practice. piano is the only music instrument i know how to play so i better be good in it! i want to learn to play the guitar and violin as well but i don't have much time and money!hahaha! i'm also doing a self-study of different languages namely: deutsch, french, korean, mandarin, japanese. i got a good grip on deutsch coz i attended german 10 class last sem. on french, i'm just starting off with the proper pronunciation. the oriental languages i want to study because of my fascination in korean, taiwanese, and japanese dramas. i want to be able to watch it without having to read the subtitles! hahaha! but if you think of it, being able to speak many languages is uber cool! tschus!

gosh! i didn't make any post during the whole month of march! i was so freakin' busy with my final exams [specifically in math 17] and school projects! oh well, i'll just tell the highlights of this month.

my march started off with kathleen's debut. i went there of course with my two very best friends tricia and rachelle. we were a bit late for the party but we arrived just in time for eating! hahaha! then the formal part of the party started, the 18 gifts. our barkada was called to give our gift but no one dared to say something coz we were too shy. thanks to anna g., who was good enough to say somethin'. then the 18 candles. it was only rachelle who's in the 18 candles. she didn't prepare any message so she was quite nervous plus she needs to go to the cr. she thought that after saying her message she could come back to our table then go the cr. but she's wrong coz she has to wait till the last one speaks. so in our table we were laughing coz were thinking of rachelle's need to go to the cr! anyway, the 18 roses were a blast. it was really cool! so after the party, we went back to my home! oh yes, tricia and rachelle had a sleepover in our house! well, we talked and talked and watched a movie until we fall asleep [around 3:00am]. we woke up 4:30am coz rachelle and i will go to our geog1 fieldtrip.

next thing was our geog 1 fieldtrip. we went to subic and went trekking through the forest. yeah, it was really exhausting! the sun was on its highest so it was really hot! but i had fun coz while walking i was able to make new friends and there was no boring time coz all the while, we were talking and laughing! the best part of course was the homeward bound! at the back, they were playing mind boggling games [not really] like black magic and things like that. then the topic was changed to ghost stories. their stories would really give you goosebumps! the way they told it was really frightening! most of the stories were about the supernatural things in UP that made me quite scared on going around there late! hahaha! the specific story that struck me was the story of the cadaver in the vanguard! i won't tell it anymore coz it makes me more frightened! awoohhhh! hehehe!

after that, projects and exams were overflowing! i was always sleeping past 12 am doing school stuff or studying for an exam. good thing my hard work paid off. i passed all the exams in math 17 and hopefully i'll get a high grade. in my chem1 i got 1.5 and in my geog1 i got a whooping 1.0! that's my first uno in UP courtesy of sir saguin! i'm just waiting for my other grades to come out and hopefully i'll maintain my status so that i'll be able to shift to ECE.

time really flies fast. i just finished a year in college. i met many new friends. i experienced many new things.

i remember, just last year, this same date [april 1], we had our graduation ball. then now we're about to have our second year in college. i really miss high school especially my friends. yeah, i met new friends in college but i think high school friends are different. you're really tightly bonded coz you stay with each other in one classroom all day long unlike in college every semester you got new classmates so you don't get to know each other much. oh well, enough of my sentiments.

summer is coming! it's time to go to the beach! but i have no time coz i'll be having summer classes [math 53]! summer classes in math 53 equals bloody summer! just joking! well maybe i'll find a way to make it fun?! rachelle is sharing my burden with math summer classes naman eh! so that makes math building the place to be this summer! enjoy!

long time no update! first let me greet you a happy valentine's day! we must enjoy this day, whether we don't have or we have a special someone to celebrate it with. oh well, enough of my sentiments. it's been 34 days since my last post and that's the longest gap i've ever had since i put up my blog!i've many things to talk about i think this will be long.

i've finally bought a new cellphone! a nokia 6280 to be exact. actually i wanted to buy it last year pa. the story goes like this, i was looking for a new cell phone in the net. then the n6280 caught my attention. it has 3g but it's not as expensive as the nseries. and after 8 months of waiting, i finally got the money to buy it. now, i'm really enjoying it! hahaha!

let's move on to my next story. tricia and i had another trip to circle c to buy dvds. she bought a lot of them and i only bought one. sadly, the dvd i bought has very bad subtitle so i went back there with my aunt and exchange it. but again, the subtitle was the same so the next day i went back there again. this time i bought grey's anatomy season 1-2. i really got hook with that series! i finished the entire two seasons in a week! then i decided to buy season 3 and finished it in 2 days! hahaha! mcdreamy and meredith really looks good together! hahaha!

next topic is about my field trip in kas 1. we went to seven churches in bulacan. it was quite boring but i also had a good time. my seat mate was also my group mate in that class, ria. i enjoyed the part when we went to sm marilao to have lunch! hahaha! i have good memories there kasi eh! [flashback: outing of the hood in marilao, bulacan, in boyz' place] well, we ate in max's then roamed around for awhile. when we got to barasoain church, i bought some of their famous delicacies there, the ensaymada and the inipit. they're very delicious indeed! the trip was ok, and what made it fun is my professor who's always joking around!

the next few days were very hectic for me. i had my midterms in chem 1, math 17, geog 1, and my major. well luckily, i passed them all! i'm so proud of myself specially in passing my exams in math17!

between those hectic days was tricia's bday, so we went out to celebrate it. we met in starbucks in sm north and had a few drinks there [wow, lumelevel! hahaha!]. then we roamed around as usual. then we watched the movie agent x44, which was really a laugh trip! it was so funny, we were laughing all the while especially in the part when vhong imitated mahal's voice! hahaha! sumakit yung tiyan ko kakatawa! then we ate spaghetti in tricia's newly discovered place on the third floor of the main building [can't remember the store's name though] and it was delicious! then we went to mcdonald's playplace to meet with the hood. after an hour of being together again, we went home.

now lets go to another topic. i really like asianovelas ever since. so now, i'm currently attending korean lessons together with tricia, who's even more addict in kpop! it was fun learning new languages but then i decided to stop coz classes are during wednesdays and during wednesday i have my departmental exam in math 17. oh well, at least i was able to learn korean a little. what i'm planning is to take korean lessons during summer if they offer it! hahaha!

well, not many of you know that i'm crazy about basketball, especially the UAAP and the cute boys there [namely chris tiu! hahaha!]! i also watch PBA, and so one sunday, my cousins, my aunt, and i went to watch a game, that was 4 feb. the crowd was so loud especially when ginebra won. sadly, my fave team, san miguel lost to red bull. oh well, lets go to the main point. after the game we decided to wait for the players to come out in the south gate. and so they came out, and i got pictures! hahaha! mind you, wesley gonzales was really a cutie! hahaha! that's not all! the following wednesday, 7 feb., i saw some of the blue eagles in dairy queen in araneta! jai reyes, johan uichico, and martin quimson. the others, i don't know their names. i was hoping i could see chris, but he wasn't there. it's ok.
moving on, i had 2 reports in a row this week, one in my geog 1 and another in my kas 1 class. in my geog 1 class, we presented a puppet show then we sang a song about poor people which goes like this : "grade one lang ang tinapos ko, no read, no write pa 'ko"! hahaha! it was quite humiliating but we had fun! then on our report in kas 1 we had games. that was really fun coz my group mates are really awesome! they're all so very fun to be with!

last but not the least, my valentine's day 2007. it was quite the same. celebrate it with friends. hahaha. i just went on a date with myself. went around the sm then treat myself in mcdo. hahaha.

oh before i forgot, they're now accepting reservations for harry potter and the deathly hallows! i wanted to make a reservation sana kanina but i have no money. hehehe. you need 500 pesos down payment kasi eh. but surely, i'll be able to make a reservation around march. can't wait to have that book on my hands! hahaha!

i didn't realize that it has been almost a month since i last posted. many things had happened. well then, i'll start with my christmas. i'm so proud of myself coz i was able to complete the simbang gabi! and i found a new prospect, that oh so cute altar server! hahaha! anyway, the usual, we went to mass, had our noche buena, and opened gifts. it was a happy christmas, but then for me, new year was way much happier. we went to mass first, then headed back home. then my cousins [also our neighbor] went to our house, and we had a little party. we had a videoke, sang our hearts out and danced as well. of course, we watched the beautiful fireworks in the sky. we also jumped, wishing that we would still grow taller! they went back home for a while to have their media noche. for our media noche, we had baked macaroni, chicken, ham and many more! after i was full my cousins came back and we watched a movie. we lasted until 4am. i was so exhausted that i woke up around 1pm! hahaha! the first two days of 2007 was oh so boring,i just stayed home. on the third day, at last, i went out. tricia and i went to circle c to buy dvds. well, i had fun. we roamed around looking for dvds of koreanovelas. we tried to make tawad, but they didn't gave us any. oh well, i was able to buy 2 dvds. the next day, it's back to school. i found out my grade in our first long exam in math17 and i passed it. whew! school's boring so let's not talk about it anymore. on the seventh day of 2007, we went to Mall of Asia. actually it was my first time and i was so excited. i was with my aunt and cousins. we were able to go around the whole place twice, imagine! we also watched the world pyro olympics and it was so nice! there were so many people, but it was okay! i was able to buy a bolero on freeway and scents on eualala. actually, i didn't plan to buy something but i was tempted coz it was sale! i couldn't resist it! i found a nice pair of shoes in VNC, which is 50% off, but it was still expensive so i didn't buy it. as i've said, there were so many people so we had a hard time on going out the place coz our van was stucked on the traffic jam. we stayed there for almost an hour and there were so many cars, almost bumping each other. over all, we stayed there for about 7 hours! hahaha! it was a really an unforgettable experience! i just wish i'll be able to go there with my friends so that it'll be more fun! that's it for now. see you when i see you! hahaha!

well, it's 6 days before christmas! and it's been 9 days since my last post. a lot of things happened last week and it was really a blast!

last last monday [dec. 11] we had our christmas party in geog 1! it was great! we even made our professor dance the "boom tarat." jason, my classmate who's very funny, lead the dance!

last last tuesday [dec. 12] i had my first long exam in math17. i was so nervous but i think i've done well

last wednesday [dec. 13] my mom and i went to greenhills to shop for christmas gifts. imagine, we only had a thousand bucks and we bought gifts for 8 people! then we ate in yellow cab. it was really tiring tough, coz there were so many people.

last friday [dec. 15] was the oblation run. tricia, rachelle and i planned to watch it together but i ended up watching it alone. tricia wasn't able to come and rachelle was stucked in their tambayan, that's why. i was at the back so i didn't see it clearly! hehehe! after that, i just went to sm coz the lantern parade was cancelled. while i was there' i even saw anna g. and nadine. then during the night we attended the first simbang gabi. we were the sponsoring family! hahaha! my father read the reading and all and they were the one who do the offering. it was tiring but i found a cutie there anyway! hahaha! he's a sakristan!

saturday, i was reminiscing the start of PDA! hahaha! am i being way too sentimental? PDA is one of my favorite shows. and luckily, my bet, yeng constantino, won. well, she really deserves it coz she's really talented!

by the way, princess hours started showing yesterday! it was really nice di ba? but the musical score was over! well, just continue watching it coz it's really good and fun. baboosh!

monday - nagtest kame sa chem1 at sobrang baba ng nakuha ko. pero pasado naman.

tuesday - napakasaya ng kas1 dahil naglaro kame. nakakatawa talaga yung mga groupmates ko. ang maganda pa dun, nanalo kame. hahaha.

wednesday - tambay sa bahay dahil wala naman ako class eh. tapos, nalaman ko na walang pasok dahil may bagyo at sobra ang saya ko nun!

thursday - nagshopping ako sa gateway kasi sale eh. naka php1000 din ako dun ha. nakabili ako ng 3 tops sa kamiseta, 50% off lahat!

friday - anu ba ginawa ko? di ko na maalala eh. hahaha!

saturday - birthday ni zoe kaya pumunta kame sa house nila. nagkita muna kame nina rachelle at tricia sa UP tapos pumunta na kame sa Mcdo st. james. nagkitakita na ulit ang hood. as usual hindi kame kumpleto. tapos nagjeep kame courtesy of joyce. tapos nilakad na namin patungo sa house nina zoe. habang naglalakad kame ang dameng jeep na pinasasakay kame, sobrang kulit nila pero di namin pinansin kasi sayang ang pera. tapos yun pala libre lang hanggang dun sa kanto. sayang ang pagod namin! nung makarating kame sa bahay ni zoe, wala pa siya kaya nagkuwentuhan muna kame. pagdating ni zoe kasama ang UP friends niya eh kumain na kami. tapos usap usap uli at umuwi na rin kame.

dec. 4 - dec. 9

monday - na-late na naman ako sa chem1 ko kaya pumunta na lang ako sa vinzons para magtanong sa scholarship ko. tapos tumambay ako sa library tapos kumain ako tapos pumunta ako sa geog1 ko. after nun, lumakad na kong papuntang MB. tapos ng class ko eh umiwi na ko.

tuesday - na-late din ako sa kas1. may activity pa naman kame nun. buti na lang may nasulat ako kahit papano. tapos pumunta ko sa major ko pero wala pala class kasi ididiscuss yung tungkol sa tuition fee increase. so yun, nagkita na lang kame nina tricia tapos namasyal kame. pumunta kame sa lagoon, sa melchor hall, at betaway tapos uwian na.

wednesday - foodtrip ang araw na 'to. nilibre kame ni tricia sa chocolate kiss. tapos pumunta kame ng ateneo para huntingin si chris, pero sad to say di namin siya nakita. huhuhu. miss ko na siya sobra. tapos kumain kame sa mcdo na libre ko. yung pix nga pala, kuha yan sa cr ng mcdo katips. nung nagpipicturan kame may biglang pumasok sa cr! hahaha! kaya binaba ni rachelle yung cell niya kasi nakakahiya. kala namin wala nakunan, pero ok naman yng kinalabasan di ba! tapos nun bumalik kame ng UP. pumunta kame sa Balay Kalinaw dahil nandun yung groupmate ni rachelle sa geog1. tapos pumunta kame ng sm north. then we parted ways.

thursday - naka-attend na ko ng chem1 at di ako late! hahaha! tapos nun kumain ako sa casaa at nakasabay ko sina athena at rocky. tapos nun geog1 na. nagpresent kame ng powerpoint. nakakatuwa yung report nung iba. hahaha! tapos pumunta na ko MB para sa Math17 ko. na-postpone yung longtest namin! hahaha! sa dec. 12 na lang daw.

friday - wala ako first and last class. pero meron akong major. kaso lang nalate ako kaya di na 'ko tumuloy. pumunta na lang ako circle c at bumili ng gift. tapos uwi na para makapagpahinga.

saturday - masaya 'tong araw na 'to dahil reunion ng elgee. kahit di kame kumpleto ok lang, masaya pa rin. present si dianne na matagal ko nang hindi nakikita. so, yun nagkita kame sa BK. tapos kumain ng onti. nanlibre si tricia ng sundae, rich kid kasi eh. tapos namasyal kame sa the block. pumunta kame sa toy kongdom at fullybooked. tapos kumain sa KFC. syempre sobrang dame picture-picture. pinagtitinginan na nga kame ng mga people kaka-picture namen eh. tapos naghiwahiwalay na kame. pumunta kame sa bench andali tapos umuwi na rin kame.

ei! i'm back once again! did you guys see the trailer of the new harry potter movie? just seeing it makes me so excited! it's been a year since the last movie was shown & i really look forward to the new one. i just hope it would be better than the last. this one would be shown on july 13, 2007. it's the first time that it was not shown during a november.

about the trailer, daniel radcliffe had a new haircut. there was even a scene were he kissed cho chang [duh!]. most of the scenes in the trailer was buildings & all [it think it was in london]. there was a scene in hogwarts but it was minimal. and the one who's playing luna lovegood looks old! hahaha!

well, let's look back on time. i started to read Harry Potter when i was on the 5th grade. it was featured on F![show in abs-cbn] & it fascinated me so i bought it. i think i was the first one to read that book in our class! hahaha! it didn't struck me that much until the movie came in 2002. then my harry potter craze started. i really loved daniel radcliffe! i bought all the books. i had books 5 & 6 exactly on the first day of release. it was expensive [around Php1500] but that didn't stop me to buy. then i finished reading it for 2 days. i can't stop myself from reading it coz the story's so good. it's really unputdownable!the 7th book would be released, i think middle of 2007. there was a rumor that it'll be on july 7, 2007 coz it's 07/07/07. hahaha! that would be really cool. but i'm really sad that it will be the last book. plus there was another rumor that one of the main characters will die!hope that's not true.

so what happened this past few days? thursday: i wasn't able to attend my first class coz i'm 30 mins. late. so i just went to casaa and ate food. i stayed there for an hour alone. luckily, tricia has no class so she was able to join me later. then we went to our geog1 class. tricia has no geog1 class so she went home already. geog1 was fun! we played pinoy henyo! hahaha! then i went to my math17 class. i was 30 mins. early coz my prof in geog1 dismissed us early. well, i did my first boardwork! i think that was the start of getting good grades in math! friday: i had a meeting with my groupmates in kas1. we talked about our report then we part ways. i went to my next class in which we had a quiz. i only got 13 out of 20! hahaha! after that i ate lunch with tricia. we went to the "beach house" to buy food. we had their very famous barbeque for the first time, after a semester in UP. we didn't eat it there though coz there were so many people. instead, we went to vinzon's and ate our food there.

ngayon ay araw ni pacquiao. pagkagising ko [mga 10am yun] binuksan ko na agad yung tv para tignan kung laban na ni pacquiao at morales. syempre hindi pa sila naglalaban, yung mga ibang chuwariwaps muna. tapos bigla kong narinig sa aming mga chismosong kapitbahay na natalo daw si pacquiao! what? i can't believe it kaya binuksan ko yung computer para i-check sa internet kung totoo yun at sa kabutihang palad eh hindi naman. yung tatay ko nanood pa nga sa sinehan sa sm north pero wala naman siyang dalang cellphone kaya di niya mabalita yung nangyayari [kakaasar!]. kaya yun nagtiyaga na lang akong manood sa tv hanggang sa malaman na natin ang resulta. nanalo si manny nung 3rd round. kawawa naman si morales. madadagdagan na naman ang kayamanan ni pacquiao! siguro mga 500 million pesos ang kinita ni pacquiao sa laban na ito! kahit 1 million lang ang ibigay niya sa 'kin ok na! hahaha!minsan nga naiisip ko mag-boksingero na lang din ako para yumaman ako katulad niya. kaso lang parang wala rin kasi pag nanalo ako, gagamitin ko lang yung pera pangpaayos ng nasira kong mukha! hahaha! kaya wag na lang. marami pa namang ibang paraan para yumaman eh!

last friday & saturday was one of my happiest days last week. so what happened during those days? friday, well, i had my lunch with my two friends [rachelle & tricia] as usual. of course, we talked and talked again coz it's been 3 days since we last saw each other. this time, we didn't eat in casaa. instead, we went to vinzon's for a change. while we were eating and talking, rachelle was taking pictures of us. we were talking about the story tricia was making and it's so funny. after that we parted ways. tricia went to her class in Palma Hall and Rachelle & i went to the math building. rachelle & i decided to walk to the math building from vinzon's hall. it's so hot but we didn't open our umbrellas [though we both have one]. since christmas is coming, we remembered the song we sang in our carol fest in our 2nd yr. in QueSci. that was "jingle bells." we laughed so hard upon remembering those memories! hahaha! i really miss high school! so after that i went to my math 17 class and after that class i went to meet them again. tricia went to the math building too after knowing that her teacher can't go on with the class coz she's sick. anyway, we got together for awhile then we parted ways again. this time i'm with tricia. we walked again to vinzon's hall. well, if you know the math building is located near katipunan. it's surrounded by green fields & it's so refreshing to walk now that it's not that hot. tricia & i were laughing all over our walk coz of SOCO [the show in abs-cbn] and how gus abelgas talks! hahaha! SOCO!

saturday was another fabulous day. rachelle invited us over their house to celebrate her birthday. i went there early with tricia coz we'll have our lunch there. we were the first to arrive & we're very comfortable with their family! hahaha! there were only the three of us so we talked and talked again. we also took pictures [curstesy of tricia's cellphone] and learned a new dance from rachelle which she called the "math dance." hahaha! then our other friends arrived [zoe, jerome, karmel, anna k., dave, francis, & joyce]. it was like our reunion! we missed each other so much that we never stopped talking and telling stories to each other. of course we all laughed all the way. then in going home, we rode the bus! we were arguing in whether to take a bus or mrt but in the end we chose to ride the bus. when we rode the bus, we were so noisy! in the bus, they were playing the movie "the grudge 2." we were joking that we change our bus tickets to bulacan so that we'll be able to finish the movie! hahaha! that was a wonderful experience! thanks to rachelle's birthday we got together again!

it's been a week since i last posted. sabe ko naman sa inyo, pag nagsimula na ang pasukan eh di na 'ko masyado magpopost. today, babawi ako kasi wala naman ako pasok kaya may oras ako para gawin 'to. well, mahabahabang usapan 'to, kasi ikukuwento ko kung ano nangyari sa 'kin nitong past few days.

last thursday simula na ang second sem. maaga 'ko pumasok kasi magkikita kame nin a rachelle at tricia. tapos yun, usap-usap andali tapos nagpart of ways na rin kami. i went to my first class which is chem 1. syempre nagkaroon na naman ako ng new friends. meron din akong classmate sa eng 1 na classmate ko ulit sa subject na 'to. anyway, akala ko wala kaming class kasi di pa dumarating yung prof namen. pero after a few minutes dumating din siya, tapos nagstart na agad siya maglesson. hay. next class ko eh geog 1. nagkaroon din ako ng new friends dun at meron na din akong kakilala. late ding dumating yung prof ko dito. tapos nagcheck lang siya ng attendance tapos umalis na siya. so maaga ako nakalabas. hinintay ko si tricia na nasa kabilang room lang, geog 1 din subject niya. actually, dapat classmate ko siya kaso lang, ewan ko ba sa crs kung anong nangyari at nalipat siya sa isang class. anyway, paglabas ni tricia namasyal kame sa fc. nung pumunta kame dun may mga paintings na nakadisplay so nakaisip nanaman kame ng kalokohan. criniticize namen yung mga paintings kahit wala naman kameng alam dun! hahaha! next class ko na kaya pumunta na ko sa mb dahil math 17 ang next class ko. pagdating ko dun eh nakita yung mga kablockmates ko na classmate ko din sa subject na 'to. naghintay kame for 30 mins. sa wala. hindi dumating yung teacher namen. kaasar. kaya naman umuwi na 'ko.

the next day friday nalate ako ng gising! 7am na! eh 8:30 pasok ko! tapos kailangan maaga ako makaalis kasi sobrang traffic sa may balara! so ano pa nga bang nangyari, nalate ako ng 30 mins. sa kas1 ko! hingal na hingal ako kasi tinakbo ko hanggang 4th floor. tapos pagdating ko paalis na yung mga classmate ko! 'kala ko tapos na yung class, yun pala di dumating yung prof namen! wala akong magawa kaya pumunta na lang ako sa fave kong tambayan, ang main lib. tapos next class ko ang major ko. tapos yun naglesson na kami. tapos break ko na. kasama ko kumain sa casaa sina tricia, rachelle, at isa. after nun, naghiwalay na ulit kame. pumunta na 'ko sa mb. this time dumating na yung prof ko sa math 17. pero mabilis lang siya. kaya maaga na naman ang uwian ko.

saturday, there was nothing interesting so kuwento ko na lang what happened on sunday. well the highlight of that day was the game between ADMU & DLSU in the filoil homegrown cup. i really missed watching games between ateneo & la salle. the intesity was so high. kaso nga lang di naglaro sina jc, doug, & macky. parang they're trying yung team without the seniors who are graduating na para makita nila yung play nila sa season 70 ng UAAP. buti na lang at nandun na si chris. he was in canada nung sembreak nila eh. i really missed watching him play! hahaha!

first day of the week, nalate ako sa first class ko! hahaha! pero dun sa next class ko i was so early! hahaha! napakasaya nung geog1 class ko. wala pang lesson. nagpakilala lang kame sa isa't isa. ganito yun, sasabihin mo yung name, course, yr, at skills mo tapos bubunot ka ng mystery question. tawa ng tawa yung buong class. sobrang saya. feeling ko dito sa class na 'to ko makakatikim ng first ever uno ko eh! sa math 17 ko, naglesson na rin kame sa wakas. unti-unti na kong kinakabahan! feeling ko wala na kong matandaan! isang sem ka ba namang walang math!

tuesday wasn't a bad day. wala ulit yung prof ko sa kas1. because of that i got a chance to talk to carla. schoolmate ko sya nung highschool pero di kame close. ewan ko nga kung alam niya yung name ko pero kilala nya siguro 'ko sa face. so, yun usap-usap. na-amaze lang ako kasi nga di ba nung highschool di kame nagpapansinan tapos ngayon na mas malawak ang paligid dun pa kame nakapag-usap. oh well, wala lang! syempre sabay kame magbreak nugn mga best friends ko. tapos kuwentuhan na naman kami. napag-usapan namen yung manhattan garden city sa cubao. sabe kasi ni rachelle kuha daw kame ng unit dun. tapos napunta sa retreat namen nung highschool. tapos kung saan-saan na kame nakarating. hahaha!

shocks! this past few days were so exhausting. i wasn't able to open my computer for two days! can you imagine? so let's have a recap on what happened last sunday and yesterday.

sunday:
it was my baby cousin's christening and first birthday. i woke up early coz i'm gonna proxy for one of the ninangs. so, we went to the church and had my cousin baptized. then we went straight back home and had a small party. there were only a few guests, mostly relatives and close friends. the party ended around 3pm. we had nothing to do after that, so we went to quezon memorial circle and strolled around a little and went back home.

monday:
this day is enrollment day. enrollment day = walking day. well, i woke up very early so that i'll be first in line for enrollment. i woke up around 5am, went to UP around 6am and arrived there at 7am. so first i went to my college which is located in the 3rd floor of the main library [i was so tired of getting up and down the stairs!]. there were no people yet so i decided to go to Palma hall. then i went back to my college again. this time a few students were there so i stayed so that i'll be the first to be advised by the college adviser. i waited for an hour then i had my turn. the adviser noticed that i didn't get any major subject so she forced me to get 2 major subjects. luckily, i was only able to get 1 major coz the other major was in conflict with my schedule. after that i went to palma hall again to enlist on chem1. but when arrived in the chem1 room they said that non-triCAL courses would be accomodated 3pm pa so i went to the gym to enlist on a pe subject. when i arrived there, the line was so long! i waited for an hour then i decided not to get a pe this sem coz there's no good sched. i went back to palma hall to enlist in chem1. fortunately, i got a slot in chem1 so i went back to my college to have my form 5 assessed. i also requested for a TCG for my scholarship [i got a GWA of 1.5!]. then i went to vinzon's hall with rachelle to ask about our scholarship. however the people there said that we need to go back the next day so i just went home. that was around 4pm. imagine, i walked and walked for 10 straight hours!if you also noticed, in my story there was no eating. yeah, i didn't ate lunch so i dropped by McDo before going home and ordered my favorite chicken mcnuggets. when i arrived home, i ate my food then went straight to bed. i slept for 3 hours, woke up to eat dinner, watched tv a little, and then went back to sleep again.

today:
oh, when i woke up my whole body was aching especially my legs and thighs! i can't even move properly. i was still so tired and sleepy but i have no choice but to go to UP again coz that's what the person in vinzon's said. so i went back to UP and walked and walked again. climbing the stairs was so hard coz my legs really hurt! huhuhu!:( well, at least i'm done with enrollment.

anyway, the next thing is start of classes on the 2nd sem. i don't have a pe subject so i'm planning to prerog. just hope i'll be able to get it so that i won't need to have summer classes. oh well, that's it for today. 'til next time. tchus!

sembreak is over. second sem is here. oh well, today i'll tell you stories about my professors during the first sem. they're all so cool and kind. i was really lucky i got them. maybe you'll want them to be your professors too after you've read this.

teacher no. 1
prof. gerry lanuza [soc sci 2]
i really had fun in his class. he is so funny and always cracks jokes. you'll also learn a lot from him. his method is this: first, students will report on a philosopher, then he'll explain it further after the report. he always entertain questions as well. he is also so kind in giving grades. i think the lowest he gave was 1.75. another thing is that he don't give exams at all. you just need to submit two papers and that's it. i also learned a lot from him. he made soc sci 2 easier for me! hahaha! i got 1.25 from him.

teacher no. 2
prof. susanne lenz [german 10]
this prof is very kind. she is a german. she gives tests that are really easy. she also arrives late and dismisses early. sometimes, though, we can't understand each other coz she doesn't know how to speak english and tagalog very well. we just laugh if that happens. hahaha! and yeah she gives high grades too. there were even four students who got 1 from her. i got 1.25 from her.

teacher no. 3
prof. eunice eugenio [nat sci 1 - chem part]
she is very kind and not boring. her teaching techniques were good. though we're a big class [100+ students], she was able to explain all lessons well. nobody slept on her class unlike in the class of the teacher in physics part. she even made a yahoo groups for our class so that we'll always be updated. because of her i was able to pull my grade up coz my grade in the physics part is low. i got 1.25 in the 2 tests she gave, unlike in the physics part where i only got 2.5. hahaha! i got a 1.75 from her.

i really love the movie "13 going on 30." i love the feel of 80's era and songs. the story's good and funny as well. my fave part there was the ending. that's when jenna become 13 again then she kissed matt then they got married. the background music was madonna's "crazy for you" and it was really touching! hahaha! that's it for today.

yesterday, i didn't post again. as i've said, i won't post as much as i did at first coz i'll be focusing more on my studies. yeah, that's right, studies first. oh well, maybe i'll post every now and then. most likely it'll be on wednesday, saturday and sunday coz i don't have classes during those days.

for my entry today, i'll tell you what happened to me yesterday. that's november 1 and so we went to the cemetery. we didn't walk this time, we rode a tricycle. but unfortunately, there was a heavy traffic jam so it took us almost an hour to reach the cemetery. if we walked we could've arrived earlier. oh well, when we arrived we went to my grandfather's grave first. then it rained so we went to my greatgrandmother's coz there's a tent there where we can stay. my uncle who's a priest [fr. jerry orbos] held a mass there and after that we ate food. my other cousins was there, so it turned out to be a little reunion. then i remembered that one of my cousins [kuya luke orbos] studied in xavier school [chris' school]. i wanted to ask him if he's close to chris coz they're batchmates but i was shy coz we weren't that close. and so i asked my mom to ask my cousin if he knows chris. and then he said yes. they were barkada daw back in high school! they were even teammates in basketball in xavier! kuya luke promised me that he would tell me if chris has games or affairs!if only i was close to my cousin, i would ask him chris' address and number! i would even ask him to bring chris' on one of our family affairs if he can! hahaha! but at least, when i meet chris, we would have somehing to talk about! at least we have connection! hahaha!

anyway, today i went out of the house. my mother and i went to CHED to ask what happened to my scholarship. after that we went to SM North Edsa. on our way in going there, i saw my friend, zoe [i really miss the hood and quesci]. i think she's going to attend bible study. anyway, i only shopped a little in SM. i just bought a nice pair of shorts in Solo. i spotted a nice shoes but didn't buy it coz i've no money as usual. i'll just save money and buy that shoes next time. hahaha!i really love shopping! who doesn't?

btw, it's already second sem. time really flies fast. just wish that this sem would be better than last sem for all of us!

it's been two days since my last post. well, last sunday blogger was down and yesterday i just didn't feel posting. so i'll just tell you what happened during those days.

sunday:
nothing important happened. i just invited my cousins over our house again. we watched the horror special in ABS-CBN. instead of being scared, we just laughed all along. hahaha!

monday:
again, nothing important important happened. i just watched the tv all day long.

today:
happy halloween!awoooh! well, today, we went to the cemetery. we just walked coz it's just near our house. we visited my lolo and stayed for awhile, then we went back home.

second sem is coming. i got enlisted in 4 subjects [math 17, comm 3, kas 1, geog 1]. i still need to get a PE subject and chem 16. but i'm thinking twice on getting chem 16. one of my professors said that if i already took natsci 1, i don't need to take chem 16. but in order to shift in ECE, one should have taken math 17, math 53 and chem 16. i don't know what to do! well, i'll be going to the College of Engineering to ask them personally, on what will i do in order to shift to ECE. college life is really quite exhausting!

after halloween, the next thing is christmas. i'm already saving money for the gifts i'll give to my friends. last year i gave them friendship bracelets! hahaha! now i'm thinking of giving them cds but i'm still not sure of that. it's really hard to find a gift for each of them so i'll just give them same gifts! that's the greatest strategy in giving gifts to friends!

and i almost forgot, it's my cellphone's 1st year anniversary! that's a great achievement for me! before, my cellphones never lasted for a year. they were always got stolen or lost. now that my cellphone's a year old, i would like to change it. i like to buy a new one, maybe a nokia 6280. hope someone can give it to me for free, like a christmas gift! hahaha! well, that's it. last night while i was sitting in our living room, i saw that there was a commotion outside our house. my aunt even thought that there was a fight outside but we were wrong. the people was just outside because they saw some artists on our neighbor's house who's jeffrey santos. i was laughing hard after seeing those people so excited. there was even one kid who shouted "judy ann lumabas ka na dyan!" hahaha! they were so crazy that they waited in front of the gate for hours waiting for other artists to arrive.

anyway, after that incident i invited my cousins, who are just our neighbor, to come over our house. we played scrabble then. the game lasted for hours because we're so eager to get high points. each one of us looked at the dictionary for several minutes just to find a word that gives us a high point. well, we discovered that many words, which we don't know, exists. i really had fun playing it. we finished playing almost 2am. so when they were about to go home, we saw judy ann santos and ryan agoncillo on our neighbor's house. we were laughing so hard. judy ann was smoking and ryan really looks good. well it was really funny but i'm not really interested in seeing them. i would be more happy if i see chris instead! hahaha!

today, i am listening to OSTs of meteor garden and other chinovelas. i remember the days when i was so crazy about F4! hahaha! i spent lots of money for them. i bought their cds and watch their concerts here in the philippines. i haven't missed a single episode of meteor garden back then. there were even instances where i really ran just to be able to watch it. i'll tell you two of that instances: one, i was watching "tanging ina" with my cousin in ali mall which is just a walking distance from our house. then when i looked at my watch it was already 5:30pm(meteor garden time) and so we didn't finish the movie and ran back home to watch MG! hahaha! second, i was with my mom and my grandmother in SM North Edsa. it was already 5:00pm and i don't go home that time i won't be able to watch MG. so i left my mom and went home alone. it was my first time to commute and i was so afraid! but because i was so crazy about MG, i was able to do it!hahaha!

meteor garden and F4 greatly affected my life. our barkada's name was even influenced by MG. we even learned some chinese words because of it! ni hao ma? hahaha! my email address even have chinese words in it. well i know i'm not alone. there are many other people who also had the meteor fever just like me and my best friend tricia!

yesterday i didn't post. i was way too lazy to make one. i was busy watching vcds that i rented. that's what i did the whole day. sembreak's almost over but my barkada doesn't have a plan on what we'll do yet. i suggested that we go mall hopping. but no shopping just strolling around the malls. maybe we can start from gateway to robinson's galleria to sm megamall to shangrila to glorietta to marketmarket to sm mall of asia. maybe we could also drop by the baywalk after. hahaha! isn't it fun? it's tiring but at least we would just spend a little money. but i think it's impossible to go to all that malls in one day. a day is not even enough when you want to go around sm mall of asia!

anyway, i'm so happy with my grades this first sem. i'm so proud of myself. i never thought i would get high grade coz i don't speak much in class. being a freshman surrounded by upperclassmen, i was so intimidated. i felt that they may think my answers would be funny coz they know more since they're older. hahaha! i was being too conscious. how pathetic! but i promise this next sem i'll be more active. i need to get better grades so that i'll be able to shift in the course i want.

speaking of the course i would shift in to, it's ECE(electronic & communication engineering). it's full of math & physics but i'll do my best to finish it. graduates of ECE can work on big companies such as Smart, Globe, Intel, Microsoft, etc. and earn lots of money that's why i chose it. however, my grandmother's still pushing me to nursing coz she says it's in demand and it's the only way i can go abroad. she thinks there's no money here in the philippines and besides all my cousins are in the US now and i'm the only one left here. yeah, that was my plan before [actually i want to be a doctor, a cosmetic surgeon to be exact, when i was younger], but i change my mind coz i realized i couldn't bear the sight of lots of blood. hahaha! now, i've really decided that i would take ECE no matter they say. besides, it's my life and i don't really want to go abroad. i just want to travel around the world but i'll still live in the philippines. i really love my country! hahaha! that's it for now.

well, im back again. masyado akong sinisipag mag-blog. kasi naman first time ko 'to tsaka wala magawa sa bahay kundi mag-computer kaya ito. pero sigurado, pag pasukan na uli, magiging madalang na ang pagbablog ko. ngayong pang meron na 'kong math 17(sana masurvive ko yun!)!

ano bang nangyari ngayong araw na 'to? gumising ako ng maaga, mga 9:30am(yup, maaga na yun para sa 'kin ha!) dahil may appointment ako sa dentist ng 11am. pagdating ko naman sa clinic ng dentist ko na tita ko rin, eh marami siyang pasyente. dalawang oras akong naghintay!nasayang tuloy ang precious time ko! mga 1:30pm na ko natapos dun kaya gutom na gutom na ko. kaya naman kumain ako sa jollibee dahil yun lang naman ang fastfood na meron dun sa 'min. ang dami kong inorder kaya di ko naubos at tinake-home ko na lang kasi sayang! hahaha! pagkain din yun noh!

pagdating ko sa bahay mga 3pm na yun, nanood ako ng vcd, ocean's twelve(naks naman!). kaso lang di ko masyong naiintidihan kasi magulo(sisihin daw ba yung pelikula?hahaha!)! tapos lumabas uli ako kasi isosoli ko na yung vcd sa video city at saka hihiram uli ako ng vcd para may magawa naman sa bahay maliban sa magcomputer! hiniram ko yung "the lake house" and in fairness, maganda siya at nakakatouch. yung storya ganito, yung girl nasa year 2006 and yung boy nasa year 2004, tapos nag-communicate sila through the mailbox dun sa lake house. basta yun na yun. try nyo panoorin!

uhm... kahapon wala 'kong post. tinatamad kasi ako eh. tsaka di naman kailangan araw-araw mag-post di ba? anyway sembreak ko na. pero dalawang linggo na lang pasukan na naman. hay, nakakatamad na naman. pero inayos ko na yung schedule ko kaya hangang 2:15 pm ang klase ko. hahaha! nakakainis lang kasi di ako na-enlist sa chem 16, eh 5 units pa naman yun. so kapag di ko nakuha yun kailangan ko ng dalawa pang GE so magugulo na naman ang schedule ko. hay, sana sa next round ng crs makuha ko na yun para ok na. ang problema na lang eh kung paano ko sasabihin dun sa college adviser na mag-shishift na 'ko. hahaha!

oo nga pala. nung friday ay animo ateneo night. may nag-imbita sa 'kin pero hindi kasi ako pinayagan. ngayon nagsisisi na 'ko. nandun pala lahat ng Blue Eagles at pwede makipag-interact sa kanila. pwede magpa-autograph, papicture at pwede kausapin yung mga players! sayang talaga. :( nakita ko na sana si chris! huhuhu!

anyways, natapos na ang first sem ko sa UP. marami pa akong di nagagawa. kaya nga ngayong second sem gagawin ko na! eto na:

i thought this day would be another day inside the house, but i was wrong. rachelle texted me and asked me if i wanted to go and meet her and our other friends in QueSci. of course i agreed coz i really have nothing to do. so i went there and saw them. we haven't seen each other for weeks so we chat and chat. we were watching a dance competition held in QueSci, but after half an hour, we decided to go to McDonalds Carpark because it's cooler there. then we talked again about different things. after a moment, francis went to the washroom which was in the other end of the carpark. rachelle was already going home but we waited for francis for a few more minutes. but he didn't arrive so we just separate ways. i went to SM and strolled around. then i went inside Solo, one of the clothing stores in The Block. i wanted to buy a top and pants there but i don't have money so i didn't. i went strolling around again and then i found a place to eat, Burgoo. i only ordered a Hamburgoo but i didn't finish it coz it was so big. it has two burger patties and lots of fries so i wasn't able to eat it all. i just took it home.

out of the topic, i'm tired of speaking so formal in my blog. in my next entry i promise that i'll be more natural na ok!

Today is another day inside the house. One of my friends asked me to go to the “Animo Ateneo Night” but my parents didn’t allow me to because nobody’s gonna fetch me. Well, to brighten up this day, I’ll just tell you my story which I call “My UAAP season 69 Experience.”

Before, I don’t watch the UAAP coz I don’t actually like basketball. I only started watching it when I was in fourth year high school (which was last 2005). The story goes like this. My computer was in a disaster and needed to be fixed so we called our neighbor, kuya jeff, a computer technician. He said that my computer is in need of reformatting and so he did it. The process was so long that’s why I turned the TV on first so that he could watch something while waiting. I was going through different channels and then stopped it in studio 23. They were currently airing a UAAP game and I thought that kuya jeff would like to watch it cause guys usually like basketball. But instead of him watching, I was the one hooked up with the game. It was my first time to watch a full game and it was between Ateneo and La Salle so it was really entertaining. From then on, I never stopped watching basketball, may it be PBL, PBA or even NBA.

Now that I’m in college and my school’s one of the teams in the UAAP, I’m more excited and more eager to watch the games. But I was only watching it on TV cause I’m busy with my studies cause I was just adjusting in college life. Then, one day, my friend Rachelle asked me if I want to watch the game between UP and Ateneo and so I immediately agreed. The game was so great as well as the players. Of course, there’s one player that really caught my eye. It’s none other than Chris Tiu # 17 of the Ateneo Blue Eagles (I really yearn for chinitos?!). I knew him already. I have seen him in magazines and stuffs but his face was still chubby there so I didn’t notice him much. Besides, he didn’t play last year, the year when I started watching bball. When I saw him in that game, he was really handsome coz his cheeks got more intact and he had more muscles. Now, I really love him and I admit that I’m a big fan of his and the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

And so I continued watching the UAAP and at long last, the finals came and obviously, the Ateneo Blue Eagles got a place in the finals. I asked my friends if they want to want to watch the finals and they certainly agreed for it’s my treat. Everyday I called the ticketnet if they already sell tickets and everyday they also replied that they do not sell tickets yet. Then one day, I called again and they said it was already sold out! What? How could that be? I inquired to them every single day then it’s sold out in less than half a day?! I finally realized that it’s not that easy to get tickets for it’s the finals which everybody awaits for. Besides they sell the tickets to the schools (ADMU & UST) both of which is not my school (I’m from UP). So what I did is I came on the day of the Game 1 and fall in line for almost an hour just to get tickets for me and my friends. However, I only got the general admission. But it’s ok. At least we were able to watch the game.

My friends and I really enjoyed watching game 1. We were laughing all along coz we don’t know the cheers. We even got balloons for ourselves though we’re not really Ateneans. We went inside the coliseum around 2pm so we were able to watch the juniors’ game. We cheered for the Ateneo Blue eaglets of course but we reserved our loudest for the Blue eagles! When the players of the Blue eagles entered the court I was really screaming at the top of my voice especially for Chris. The game started after several minutes. At first, Ateneo’s score was several points higher than that of the UST’s, but on the second half the world turned and UST was leading. Then UST got a 1 point lead over Ateneo in the last 4 seconds. With Ateneo having only 1 second to do a winning shot (which is most unlikely to happen), the UST crowd was already screaming and rejoicing. I was losing hope too, but I said to myself that impossible is nothing for the Blue Eagles. It is true then. Macky Escalona passed the ball to an unguarded Doug Kramer making him able to do a shot under the basket which made them win over UST by 1 point lead. It was really heart pounding and all but it is the best of all the three games I may say.

The second game was supposed to be scheduled on Sept. 28, but due to typhoon Milenyo it was postponed and was moved on Sept. 30. This time we were able to acquire Upper Box A tickets using our connections inside ticketnet. I waited for my friend, Rachelle, and then we picked up the tickets in the Aurora Tower. We headed on the Araneta Coliseum immediately. When went upstairs, we saw people selling Ateneo jerseys. I wanted to buy one but it’s expensive so we just entered. Inside, we can’t find seats with great view so we just sat on the aisle on the middle wherein we can see the court fully. Luckily, a guy (who’s wearing a jersey signed by Chris!) offered us his seat. Before the game starts, they were giving out balloons and pompoms and of course we got lots of them! Hahaha! Then the junior’s game started. There were people screaming on our back. They were cheering for a player name Enzo Katipunan who’s their relative they said. After almost two hours, the game was ended and the Ateneo Blue eaglets got the championship over the FEU baby tamaraws. I was expecting the same for the Blue Eagles but it didn’t happen. Ateneo lost to UST by 16 points. I think it’s the referee’s fault. They were always calling fouls on the Blue Eagles (Chris got 4 personal fouls, imagine?). My friend said that maybe the referees want to extend the finals so that they would still have work! Hahaha! After that bad game, we went downstairs. I was thinking maybe I could see Chris on the gate but I didn’t. Instead we saw other personalities like, Mar Roxas, Korina Sanchez, Wacky of PBBteens and many more.

During the third game, I almost went crazy in finding tickets. I had connections in the ticketnet but they too were not able to acquire any. So my friend and I waited for scalpers who could sell us tickets but there where none. There were only students who’re bidding their tickets. They were selling it ten times the original price (what the hell?). Luckily, someone gave us a ticket for free, but it was only one and there were two of us. After talking for a time, my friend decided to gave me the ticket and that she would just go back to school coz she still has a class. I went to game 3 all alone. But I have no regrets coz I really had a great experience. When I went inside, the coliseum was already full and loaded with people so I just stood up during the entire game (that was 3 hours so my feet really hurt after!). The game started with Ateneo leading by several points. Then the lead got down again just like in the first game. They were simply exchanging leads. UST shoots 2 points and Ateneo answers back with a 3 point shot and vice versa. The game even went overtime. But it wasn’t really Ateneo’s game. It’s really all the referees’ fault. They were calling fouls which is so unreasonable! Chris was even fouled out in the last minute! But what can we do, it’s already finished. UST won over Ateneo (really a big surprise to most people!). I was just so sad when I saw JC crying. He carried the team all along. It’s his last year in Ateneo and he wasn’t able bring home the championship. It’s really hard on his part, as well as Macky & Doug, who’re also playing their last year, to accept defeat. Though they didn’t get it, I’ll still support them. As their alma mater song goes, “win or lose it’s the school we choose!” Go Ateneo, One Big Fight!

I know my story is so long but I consider it one of the greatest days of my college life. I just hope next season will be just as good as this season especially when La Salle makes a comeb

A Day of Walking
After being stuck in the house for three days, I decided to go to UP and see my grades for the first semester. And upon going there, I needed to do lots of walk.

The jeep I rode going to UP stops at Katipunan. From there, I walked heading to the faculty center where I’ll meet Tricia. We talked a little and decided to go to the Gym to see our grades in our Social Dance class. In going to the Gym, which is quite far from the faculty center, we only walked. When we arrived there, we saw our grades that was higher than we expected (I got 1.5! hahaha!). We also looked at our classmates’ grades. There were two who got a flat 1 but I won’t mention their names anymore. After that, we decided to go and eat at McDonalds Katipunan. We only ordered fries and coke float but we stayed there for almost an hour because we’re talking and laughing about certain things. One of those things was going to Ateneo. The happiest part starts here.

At first I was hesitant to go to Ateneo because I was worried the guard wouldn’t allow us to go in, but I was convinced by Tricia so we went there, of course by walking. We went through the overpass and upon reaching the other end, we stopped for a while to think of a plan. Tricia suggested that we say that we’re gonna inquire about the ACET. That’s what we did and we were able to get in! Hahaha! So we walk and walk again, not knowing where we’re going to. Then we stopped and saw the John Gokongwei School of Management which was Chris’ college. I was really hoping to see him there but I didn’t so we continued walking until we reach the cafeteria. We entered and sat there for a while and then went strolling around again. We saw the Berchman Hall, Kostka Hall, Faura Hall, Xavier Hall, Rizal library and many more. We walked for an hour and I think we were able to see the whole campus in that one hour. Before we go out of Ateneo, we took pictures so that we will have a remembrance! Hahaha!

I ‘m not really fond of walking but I actually enjoyed this certain walk. Besides, as what I’ve read in one of the bulletin boards in Ateneo, walking has 3 good effects: (1) you’ll lose weight, (2) you’ll save money, (3) you’ll be able to protect the environment. Hahaha! That’s it for now!

this is my first time to have a blog. well i just wanna try my skills in computer as well as in speaking english and in expressing my self. first i want to introduce myself. my name is ma. regina o. nario. i live at q.c., philippines. i'm 17 years old turning 18 on august 22 next year (grabeh, i am so old na?!). i am currently studying at the university of the philippines as a freshman. i am a bright and simple person. i love reading books especially harry potter and gossip girl. i love basketball particularly the UAAP and Chris Tiu. i am a tv addict as well, addict meaning the tv is on 25 hours a day! i like listening to music and surfing the internet. i admit i'm a moody person but i am really friendly. i'm very talkative, but i could be shy. i'm kind but i could be mataray to people who irritates me. i hate being teased and laugh at(who wants to?) and i think i am such a perfectionist. i always want things to be in order. But on the contrary, I also think i am a lazy person. last thing about me is that i'm an introvert. i always keep things to myself and it’s just so hard so i created this blog. i just hope everyone would like it.
